  • Experience one of Leelanau counties unique historic properties! On site we have a wine tasting venue, Hawkins Farms Cellars, and a Thai restaurant, and close to lots of activities. Bring your boat, we have water access to the Traverse Bay, just across the street, with free overnight parking. The apartment is a 1 bedroom with queen size bed, living area with a couch, and coffee table, full kitchen, washer/dryer, full bath, coffee maker, microwave, free wireless internet, and flat screen TV.

We had such a wonderful stay in Leelanau County. The apartment was very clean, well appointed, and comfortable, with thoughtful homey touches throughout. The hosts were so kind, attentive, and easy to communicate with, which made our stay feel even more welcoming.The location was perfect for exploring the area. We loved being close to Traverse City, wineries, shops, fireworks, and the air show, while still having a peaceful place to come back to and relax.Our favorite amenity was the porch swing, perfect for morning coffee and unwinding in the evening after a full day of exploring. This is a great spot for anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and relaxing stay in Leelanau County. We would definitely recommend it to other travelers.

We went to Traverse City for a wedding. Hawkins Cellar Farms was the perfect place to stay. The apartment had everything we needed, and the grounds are beautiful!

Perfect space

The space was perfect for my husband and I. It was very clean and had all of the amenities we needed. The location is within 30 mins of surrounding cities and attractions. The attached restaurant was lovely with friendly staff. Would live to stay again!

The property was wonderful, exactly as described. A great option for a couple. All the rooms were well appointed and with enough space to be relaxing. The area is near enough to Traverse City to be convenient but far enough from the crowds there. Suttons Bay was an unexpected gem.

We were very pleased with the property. It was very clean and in a nice location close to wineries and In between Traverse City and Sutton Bay. The little apartment had everything we needed for our stay.

Can’t wait to book this place again! It had everything we were looking for, from location wise to boat launch to private beach, as well as being close to wineries! Wish we would of had a longer stay! Definitely will keep this place in mind for next year! Place was clean and comfortable!

The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed, especially a washer and dryer. We stayed 3 weeks. The location was easily accessible to everything on Leelanau Pennisula. We were able to ride our eBikes to the Bike Trail and on to Sutton’s Bay and back.

A Perfect Place to Stay

An excellent place to stay in Suttons Bay. Very comfortable and spotless rooms. The wine tasting and restaurant on site are added bonuses. Owners are friendly and responsive. I highly recommend this property. It is close to restaurants in Suttons Bay and a short drive to Traverse City. We can't wait to return next summer.

Great spot for a Leelanau Co getaway

We enjoyed our stay very much. A very clean, well-maintained, one bedroom apartment. Located directly behind a wine tasting room that also has a Thai food restaurant and a store. We love the location as it was central when visiting all of the wineries from mission point all the way to Northport. We would definitely consider staying here again!

I stayed for 12 weeks at this beautiful and quiet apartment. Everything I needed was there, including a washer and dryer, coffee maker, microwave, fridge and stove.

As advertised. Check in and out were easy. Unfortunately, we couldn't take advantage of the on site Thai and pizza place. They were sadly understaffed for the week of the 4th. Maybe another time.

This place was the perfect fit for a couple that was exploring the area but needed a "base camp" for each day. So many great things to say about this place! Check-in was super easy! We met Salve who is incredibly friendly! She pointed out everything to us and made sure we were comfortable. The apartment was fantastic and so clean. There was nothing we needed at all. The suite had everything. We loved the grounds and the next door wines and food too. I met Rich several times as he was working outside and he was so kind and made sure that if we needed anything, to contact him. This place is absolutely 100% perfect in it location, so charming! Across the street is your own private beach. It has two routes to get to it but we were adventurous. (google-earth it) We had the beach to ourselves the whole day and it was very clean. We had ducks, swans, and kildeer birds visit us. the water is so clean and shallow for about 50 yards from shore. We explored many of the wineries in the are and had an enjoyable time in nearby Suttons Bay. Be sure to get Reclatte cheese from the Leelanau cheese shop nearby. After exploring each day, it was so nice to come back to Hawkins Farms! I used the grill there a couple of times for wonderful steaks. The deck has a table and swing to enjoy a sunset meal. Be sure to walk along the creek on the property. It is beautiful. Thank you Rich and Salve! You were the perfect place for us to make a great life memory! We hope to be back!
