Neighbors upstairs could be heard walking around all night. Had to use white noise machine. One of the bedrooms didn’t have a proper bed- some kind of pull out bed. Not great for an adult

Great stay. Walk to parks, the bay, and restaurants. Beautiful neighborhood behind for walking too. Loved the rooftop patio! Most everything we needed was there. We did have to buy toilet paper as there wasn’t enough for a 2 week stay. Everything was spic and span except the shower grout. Would definitely recommend if you want to be in town.

Perfect Location

Perfect location in Traverse! Enough removed from the downtown area but still walkable within 15-20 minutes. Nice amenities and very clean; exactly as listed. Owners are very responsive! Easy check in/out with no crazy asks for renters. Will be staying again.

Very comfortable

We stayed here for 3 weeks. The apartment is very clean and well maintained. Communication with the management was a 10/10. They are EXTREMELY quick to respond and resolve issues immediately. In our case one of the pots in the unit had a broken handle and we needed a new shower curtain. They dropped off a whole new pot and pan set the next day and we had a new shower curtain within the hour. I know they warn about the main road being loud, but we didn’t really hear it. The apartments are well insulated and we couldn’t hear our neighbors much.The walk to downtown Traverse City is about 25 minutes down pretty neighborhood streets. We like to walk so this was fine for us. We could also walk to the grocery store and Starbucks from here. The only thing we didn’t love was the parking situation. You get one spot and it's tight. We have an SUV and we took up every inch of our space and our doors got dinged. I felt sorry for the people in trucks. There is free street parking on State Street and it was always available.The building is very secure and the area was safe.A couple of tips:The microwave fan doesnt vent outside, it vents into the cabinet above it. We made bacon before I knew it wasn't venting outside and it smelled like bacon for daysss. Open windows to air out smells while you cook.The fan is loud and we used it as white noise for the dogs during thunderstorms, fireworks, and when we left so they wouldn't bark when they heard people in the hallwaysDog friendly

Nice Clean Condo

Super nice and clean condo. Was in a nice neighborhood area with lots of sidewalks for walking. It was really chilly and if it was nicer we could had seen walking downtown, but we drove most places. We had our dog with us and it was very doable with pets. If i was looking for something to suggest it would be new pillows, but i am a pillow snob.

Nice easy stay

This property was really clean and had a very easy checkout process that was really nice. We didn’t have to do a single thing! That really made checking out a stress free process. We were able to walk to many different activities and to the beach which was lovely. If you’re looking for a relaxing stay this is a great option!

Listing Description is Misleading - 2nd Bedroom isn't Really a Bedroom.

Upon checking into this unit we were very surprised to see that the second "bedroom" was in fact a windowless room with no egress window or closet. I emailed the property management company who replied promptly saying the bedroom was a non-conforming bedroom. I was quite uncomfortable having my two young children sleep in a room with no emergency egress / windows. Just beware that the second "bedroom" is a windowless box. Lastly, while the building was quite new, the unit could use a deep clean. We encountered lots of sticky spots on the floors and the baseboards and windowsills needed a good dusting. To their credit, the property management team was very responsive, check-in and out were a breeze and the instructions were very clear.

Christmas in TC

We rented the condo while visiting my son who was hosting the family Christmas. We brought my 80 yr old mother on the trip and rented a 1st floor unit. It was easily accessible from parking to condo. The kitchen and living room were spacious and comfortable for socializing. The beds were comfortable and baths were clean and had all amenities that you need. Another family member rented the 3rd floor unit with a roof top outdoor patio and Jacuzzi, which was a great way to end the day using the hot tub. The lower unit was larger than the upper level unit which worked out well for family meals. Overall the place was modern, clean and very comfortable and we would not hesitate to rent this place again.

Wonderful!

The condo was perfect for our family! Very clean, great location, and amazing service from the property manager. Parking spaces are small but we were able to fit our truck. We just needed to get the kids out of car seats before we pulled in the spot. We will definitely stay at this location again!

Clean unit but very inaccurate property description

We stayed at CitySide Lofts, Unit 2 in Traverse City the past weekend (Oct 14 - 16). When we booked on the website, it clearly stated that it will be a condo with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. However, when we arrived and checked into the property, we found it was a condo with 2 bedrooms and only 1 bathroom! The bathroom was inside of the master bedroom, which caused inconvenience for our group. One door in the living room was locked - we did not know whether it was for the third bedroom or the bathroom. We contacted the property manager right away and asked the manager. He replied in email that there was no third bedroom and the unit only had "two bedrooms and a pullout couch in the living room". We relied on the expectation that there would be three separate bedrooms and two bathrooms when booking the rental home. It was shocking to us and certainly disruptive to the overall quality of the stay and our trip. This needs to be corrected and we ask for a refund for the discomfort and inconvenience.
