  • Este precioso chalet está situado en Schuss Village, que forma parte del complejo Shanty Creek Resort, y se encuentra a solo unos minutos de campos de golf, pistas de esquí y varios lagos preciosos y de aguas cristalinas. Con cuatro dormitorios, mobiliario totalmente nuevo, lavadora y secadora, conexión a Internet por wifi, tres televisores inteligentes, una hoguera y una barbacoa de carbón, además de una chimenea de leña, nuestra casa es el lugar perfecto para una escapada de fin de semana o unas vacaciones con la familia y/o los amigos. El chalet tiene capacidad para alojar cómodamente a 8 personas y es el refugio ideal para todo lo que busques en el «norte»: golf, esquí, motos de nieve, esquí de fondo, pesca, caza, visitas turísticas, senderismo o, simplemente, ¡relajarte! :) Está muy bien situado, cerca de algunas de las atracciones turísticas más populares del norte de Míchigan, como Traverse City, Petoskey, la isla de Mackinac, las dunas de Sleeping Bear, Elk Rapids, el lago Torch, la cervecería Short’s y mucho más. Seguro que te enamoras de la belleza del norte de Míchigan. ¡Reserva tu estancia HOY MISMO!

    NOTA: Las 4 habitaciones están en la segunda planta y hay unos 10 escalones para subir. Los peldaños son estrechos, pero hay barandillas a ambos lados de la escalera para ayudarte a subir con seguridad. Si te cuesta subir escaleras, puede que esta no sea la mejor casa para ti.

Beautiful location

What a wonderful, peaceful place. We enjoyed sitting outside in the evening by a fire and waking up to a fresh pot of coffee and sipping it on the patio listening to the quaint, peaceful sounds of northern Michigan!

Yes, the stairs are skinny and you have to watch yourself on them but other than that, the place is great. Nice big semi-circle driveway to park several cars and a boat/trailer. They had a grill, dishwasher, washer/dryer. No air conditioning but it wasn't bad. There are box fans in almost every room and being in the woods made it cooler.

Beautiful setting, clean and comfortable

We've stayed in this area a number of times, and this is our favorite cottage here! Our family of 5 was very comfortable. We loved the layout and decor in this cottage. Very private setting yet convenient to everything.

Wonderful getaway

What a lovely place to stay! The house was pristine and had all the amenities we needed as a group of seven. The location was perfect for day trips to Torch Lake, Lake Huron and Lake Superior and Sleeping Bear Dunes. And we loved the benefit of going to the resort pool each night!

Spring into summer

This was was a wonderful option for my family! Conveniently close to the lake and a good in between destination for Mackinaw. It is quiet and despite the lack of central air it was still quite cool with just the windows and fans. We will definitely stay again!

Northern Michigan get away

Enjoyed the surrounding woods that provided privacy, hanging out on the main floor, and having four bedrooms upstairs each with a ceiling fan.

Winter excursion

My family & I stayed here & it was great! Just like the pictures. No surprises. Cozy & roomy-didn’t feel cramped. Jen was also a great host, responding quickly to any inquiries I had.

The property was very clean and extremely well stocked with even more than the expected essentials. Jenn was a great host, responding to any of my questions quickly. It got a little warm with some 90 degree days, but it helped that she supplied extra fans besides the ceiling fans. Fun trip all around! :)

The location was exactly what we wanted. We were able to golf, take day trips and we liked having four bedrooms. The extra space in the entryway/mudroom helped keep the inside of the house less cluttered. We were a little disappointed that the pool rules had changed but it was not really outdoor pool weather while we were there. The wasps were a problem but the owner was notified.

Shanty Creek Stay

Well kept property, Very quiet and peaceful setting. Our host Jennifer was 5 Star when it came to responding to emails or phone calls, she always made us feel welcomed and was always available for questions or concerns. Our only reason for the 4 star rating is the fact that there is no air conditioning and we had a small problem with ants in the bedrooms but not in the downstairs kitchen or living room areas . Overall I would recommend staying at this unit and would definitely stay again if traveling in this area again.

Great stay

This was a great spot for our family of 5 and we had room to spare. The house is towards the end of a dead end street so it was nice and quiet, and was very clean upon arrival. The house was stocked with everything we needed for cooking. Everyone slept great on the comfortable beds and we enjoyed bonfires every night. We didn't have any issues while we were there, but I communicated with the owner a few times before arrival and after departure and she was very responsive. Shanty Creek is a huge property. We drove to the pools but also enjoyed some walks through the neighborhoods. Had a great time and would definitely consider coming back to this house.

Just one issue

Everything was fine except the stairs to the second floor. They are about 1/2 the depth and height of what they should be, I guess they have no building code in Michigan. I tripped twice going up and once coming down

Perfect weekend getaway up north

This location was an amazing surprise. We were looking for somewhere to stay near torch lake, and chose this as a more affordable place to stay for the family, and wow am I so glad we did!! The Shanty Creek area was an awesome destination alone, and torch lake was just an easy short drive away (and a MUST go to while in the area). Shanty Creek is so beautiful, the included pools you get access to are awesome, and there's tons of nice golf courses all around this resort area. I'm sure the skiing in the winter is just as great or better too! This house was so cozy and even prettier in person. Everything was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Only con in the summer was there was no AC, but fans were provided in the bedrooms to help - which was much appreciated. The main floor was a comfortable temperature and no problem at all. Overall we had the best trip and I will definitely stay here again!!

Torch Lake trip

Our first trip to Northern Michigan. There were 4 adults and 3 kids. The house was very cozy, had all of the amenities you need. Jenn the property manager was great at responding quickly and thoroughly with any questions. The area was beautiful and the resort access was a huge bonus. Loved it!

Very cozy

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Very quiet & cozy. The owner was very prompt on check in & check out & helped us with anything we needed. My family had an amazing time.
