What a location! This is a stretch of Lake Michigan that is truly an amazing gem. It was wonderful heading down the bluff stairs to swim everyday and walk the beach for miles. The house is stylish and unique!

Our stay was amazing! It was clean and had everything we would have needed. How the supplies were organized and labeled were appreciated, along with the stock of spices. The views and the beach were beautiful! The communication with the host was great as well. We plan to stay there again.

This is a wonderful, gorgeous, clean property. The kitchen is a dream, everything you could need, and the whole-house water filtration system is especially welcome. The beach is perfect, too. Really a special property! We'd love to stay there again.

Beautiful

The view is astounding! It's 180 degrees of Lake Michigan, with Arcadia Dunes to the south, the horizon directly to the front of the home and the Frankfort lighthouse to the North. The views are great inside and on the deck. The home is great! The kitchen is perfect for meals at home. We usually choose to eat at the home because there are no restaurants with such a beautiful view. This is the third year we've rented this home and hopefully, if the owners will have us, it won't be the last time we stay at this beautiful spot.

Great family getaway

The home was in a fabulous location with access to the beautiful private beach. Everything was very clean and the home was equipped with all the amenities needed for a great vacation. The only down side was the "sleeping area" off the great room. The pull out couch was lovely but the area did not provide much privacy. It worked for my 16 year old but might be hard for others looking for bedroom type arrangements. We loved staying here and would definitely visit again.

The location of this property is spectacular! The living room, tv room and kitchen are lovely. Kitchen is fabulous. Sleeping area leaves a little to be desired compared to the upstairs. The view is gorgeous and the beach is fantastic. If you're a rockhound, this might not be a spot for you. Very sandy beach! Stairs to the reach need updating. One spot in particular is hazardous as it goes from normal gait between steps to a shortened gait and steeper than the rest of the stairs. Throws you off balance. Finally, there was a communication lapse that could have been quite serious and when a response finally arrived, it was less than satisfactory. I don't like giving negative feedback. In this case, it is my hope that the owner will adjust accordingly because it really is a pretty sweet spot.

Gorgeous views

This house was perfect for a weekend getaway for my partner and I. Lovely panoramic view of the lake. House is set in the woods at the top of the dune with ateps down to the lakeshore within feet of the deck. Beautiful location.

Magnificent view

Very cool house in a quiet area with a magnificent view and beach. The house is a woodsy surrounding but the view from the deck, main room and kitchen seating island is amazing. Kitchen has everything you need to support cooking all your meals. The house worked well for us, just two people and we had a third person with us for three nights. Beach was quiet and lovely for long walks. Communication with owner was great through the app and he was responsive. Thank you!

Wonderful Stay

We had an enjoyable time at this rental. Views are breathtaking, beach was nice and not busy. Downtown Frankfort was super close and enjoyable to shop and dine. Grocery store close by. Everything you would want for a relaxing beach getaway!

Beautiful view, great beach walking and comfy home

We had a wonderful time. We walked on the beach and sat up on the deck everyday and all day. Its so beautiful and peaceful. We ate at home because no restaurant could offer the view from this lovely home. It's hard to leave.

Great hidden bluff location

My husband and myself and our two young children enjoyed our stay here! Perfect home for a family of 2 young children or even just a couple visiting. Beach was beautiful, totally private but a HIKE down there. Be warned lol! Kitchen was beautiful and equipped with everything you need.Very clean & great time! Hosts were helpful and provided lots of local resources and ideas!

Wonderful location, Wonderful hosts! PERFECTION!

We stayed for 10 days in April at the most beautiful place we've ever stayed, and we've been to many, many places in our 50 years together. The hosts, Jeremy and Jody are the most wonderful people, unbelievably kind and generous. The location of the home is stunning and the very artful home itself has everything one could possibly imagine. My spouse is a gourmet cook and was extremely impressed with an excellent kitchen set up, well equipped and so easy to work in….all while having a full view of the beautiful Lake! Everywhere upstairs is a stunning view of Lake Michigan. The patio just off the living room is a little piece of paradise; an incredible spot to soak in brilliant sunsets. The master bedroom had the most comfortable bed we've ever found (besides our own), and this really made a perfect package. The hosts have thought of everything to make this the best getaway, tons of interesting books and DVD's...this place simply has it all. Thank you Jody and Jeremy for making your beautiful home available. May you always have respectful, gracious guests who appreciate the care and artistry everywhere. We plan to return!

Glorious

There are panoramic views of Lake Michigan. Arcadia dunes to the south and Frankfurt break water to the north. The home is comfortable and well appointed. The architecture is interesting with stone work inside and out. This was our second time renting the home and we’ll be back.

Wow, those stairs.

Everything was fine, location was as expected, except the stairs leading to the beach were a bit of a challenge, for the almost 60 crowd. We were basically not expecting that climb.

Perfect lake Michigan stay

We had an amazing stay. The house is really lovely with a beautiful view over lake Michigan and amazing sunsets. The house had everything we could need with nice instructions on how to use appliances. Three kids shared the bunk room easily since there is a pull out trundle. We had adults in the main bedroom and on the pull out couch, which worked well for us. Steps to the lake are steep (but close by public access stairs are an easier alternative). The beach is awesome and we were lucky to have some beautiful beach days. The woods around the house make it feel very isolated and we spent mornings and evenings on the deck with the view. Kids had fun with a tree stump obstacle course in front of the house. I hope we can go back!

Quaint getaway

Lovely place

My husband and I had a lovely stay. House is just as the photos appear and the location was perfect for exploring Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore and surrounding area. Check in and check out we easy. Overall, I recommend the place and will strongly consider rebooking it if I am back in the area.

Three-peat!

It was our third year in a row for an August vacation at this lake front property. It was another great experience of beautiful views, near private beach, and a wonderful, well-equipped house. The owners are very responsive to questions and concerns. We feel lucky to live in Michigan and very lucky to have found this VRBO in 2020.
