Family Vacation

Enjoyed my stay. Everything as described. Moma bear and 2 cubs spent the morning exploring and playing around the cabin . Enjoyed watching them.

Excellent home

The description of the property is on point. The views were beautiful. You were able to see the sunset and rise. The only negative was how you can hear every step above or below. You really need to be on the same sleep pattern as everyone in your group.

Oh Snap, My Back!

The cabin, amenities, view, location, check in & out process, were all WONDERFUL. The reason for the 4 star review instead of 5 is something I find to be VERY important in a rental... sleeping comfortably. The bedrooms look cozy and were clean. The linens were nice & clean. However the comfort of those mattresses were awful. "Oh Snap, My Back is what 3 of the 4 bedroom occupants woke up saying every morning. After a long day hiking or Dollywood, you look forward to laying your head down and sleeping comfortably. The mattresses didn't provide comfort and for the nightly price charged, I would hope this is an improvement the owners will invest in.

Family fun

Loved the house. We had a bear visitor a couple days in a row. Couple bat problems but was handled quickly. We love Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We will stay again

Family Vacation 2023

We're finnaly getting the kids back together for family vacations since they've now settled into careers. This is our first cabin rental, the instructions for arrival and departure are easy to follow. When Yvette was away Kim provided support, the communication was great and flawless. Mighty Sunset has a great view of the valley. The location is remote but has easy access to local shops, Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg/Cades Cove are a nice scenic 20-30 minutes away. Cabin was clean and everything we needed was provided, even baby playpen and booster seat. We left with great memories and even bear pictures from the deck.

Beautiful view!

We enjoyed 3 nights at the mighty sunset and couldn’t be more happy with it. In fact we wanted to stay longer and even asked the property managers during our stay if we could stay an extra night… sadly it was already booked. We loved the hot tub and beautiful sunsets from the deck. The floor plan was perfect for our family. Our two teenagers took the upstairs bedrooms/loft, my husband and I had the main level bedroom and our newly married adult son and his wife had the downstairs as there own separate/private area. The cabin is located in a cozy and quiet area far enough away from the business of Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge but close enough with a quick drive into town. Access to the Smoky Mountains National Park was nearby as well. The property managers were fast to respond to any questions and needs we had. Check in/out was simple and the property was clean. We would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back in the area. Highly recommend!

This is not one home but two separate apartments.

Not recommended for children because you have to go outside to access the game room and the 4th bedroom. The 3rd bedroom is in an open area and not a room with doors.

STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!

The cabin looks exactly like the photos. The check in process was very easy. The host kept communication open and was very responsive when needed. The view is to die for!!!!!!!! Worth every penny. 5 stars all around!!!! If there was anything that could of been changed it would be maybe put a sign on the road by the garage driveway that says 136 because there’s only a sign that says 130 but once we found it we was good to go the rest of the time. But it was still a full 5 star experience

Great stay

Great stay with beautiful views. Only complaint was the cabin didn’t have an internal staircase to go To the lower level. Not a huge inconvenience, but would have made more sense.

The cabin was dirty. The hot tub was nasty with filthy water. Ligh bulbs out in the bathroom.

The place was filthy. My wife had to sweep and mop the floors. The counter top in the kitchen had food crumbs on it. The bathtub had hair in the drain. The owners were hard to get ahold of and we couldn't use the hot tub the first two days because the water was black and disgusting. We begged for light bulbs and a clean hot tub. We asked on Thursday and by friday night at 9pm they finally sent someone with bulbs and someone to drain the hot tub and clean it. Will never rent from this owner again!

Great cabin and location

We stayed at the cabin in early November. The back deck looking out over the fall colors was amazing. Inside the cabin, the rooms are all a good size. We had 4 adults and 2 kids and all stayed in ‘main’ section of the house. More adults would have made it hard to gather together, but we weren’t inside very much and we had no complaints. We didn’t utilize the downstairs game room area of cabin as often (it connects externally), but my husband balled down there and said futon was actually very comfortable!

LOVED THE CABIN

THEY ONLY THING I WOULD REQUEST IMPROVEMENT ARE THE BEDS. THEY WERE EXTREMELY HARD, LIKE SLEEPING ON CARDBOARD. MY WHOLE FAMILY COMPLAINED.

Great views

The house wasn't the cleanest but the owner was very responsive and the cleaning lady did show up within 30 minutes. The beds were extremely hard. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. It's not that far from town. All in all, the view is worth it.
