"This property is in an excellent location for visiting the Historical Naval Yards and related attractions. The property was very clean and quiet. My only "complaint" is that the washer-dryer machine took several hours per load. I strongly recommend staying here!"

"I’ve just returned from this beautiful property, it had all a family would want , swimming pool,hot tub, games room.it was convenient to new forest,we aged between 85 to1 years of age,all where cater for.From the games in the games room to the games in the house, the utilities in the kitchen and the good size bedrooms. not to mention the barbecue,and the ability to have an open fire while barbecuing,since it’s been pouring down with rain."

"It was perfect for what we were after. A night in Southampton before getting an early ferry. Location for that. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. Really helped make the stay. Only thing we would change would be a fan in the room, as widows didn't open much to get air flow. That said it was one of the hottest nights of the year. "

"The facilities offered by the Thatched Cottage are excellent. The pool area was fantastic and much enjoyed by the whole of our 3 generation family. The house was huge and there were plenty of areas around the property to sit and relax and eat together."

"property just down rd from the hard. Hard to find without prior knowledge. Entry was difficult becuase the entry system at first took a lot of doing. It is on a safe system that needs imput from the owners and a no to get the small safe to drop and reveal the key to apt. Not able to get TV or internet until landlady came on sun morning. Phone conversation was not good at all. Frequently breaking down when asking questions. No instructions at all in apt to get started. No hot water...

"Be very very careful when choosing this flat! The pictures do not match the accommodation at all. The cleanliness leaves much to be desired, the conditions are non-existent and the owner does not inspire trust or safety, as the apartment does not offer either. I do not recommend this place for women. I do not think I have ever met such an unsafe place. Avoid staying here, expedia should remove it from the site."

"A beautiful property which made for a perfect stay for 11 of us celebrating 5 teenagers GCSE results. Whilst we all made good use of the pool for hours each day, we also loved having the Tennis court, table tennis, play area, bikes and beach equipment, all of which got some use.The grounds are lovely, with lots left to wilding which meant there were an abundance of bees in and out of the hives which were also (carefully) visited by a number of us.
