"Disappointing stay. The facilities were poor for the price (e.g., a cheap plastic kettle), and not all necessary utensils were provided; the ones available were worn out. The kitchen and bathroom drains were constantly clogged, and the toilet flush did not work properly. The internet was extremely weak and unreliable. The apartment was also very loud; you could hear the neighbors, and the ceiling made a lot of noise when it was windy at night; impossible for me to sleep at night. Overall, not...

"Beautiful place, picturesque country setting. Next time we stay here we will consider renting a car. The walk to the bus or train is only about a mile and it wasn’t too hot out. The kids really enjoyed the pool."

"Most impressive location and views from the tower. A bright apartment a bit of a rarity in Lucca which was fully equipped and met our needs. Near to local shops and restaurannts in the heart of the city. We had an issue with a leaking skylight during heavy rain in the upstairs lounge which created a slip hazard and needs attention. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. "

"The apartment is spacious, clean and tidy, modern, and well appointed. There is no shortage of great restaurants nearby. In 5 days, we never had to repeat, although it was tempting.Now... the apartment is inside the ZTL, and the rules are a bit confusing and complicated. There is a car park near the cruise ship terminal, and that's where you should park (it is also inexpensive). It is about 1/2-mile walk from there to the apartment. It was never clear to me if we could drive nearby to unload....
