HERMOSO LUGAR

La casa estupenda, bien equipada. Faltaría una segunda nevera o un arcón condenado. Si la casa está llena falta espacio en la nevera. El alojamiento es perfecto para la convivencia de grupos grandes. Bonitas vistas, cómodo, con espacios para muchas actividades. El acceso es tortuoso para el coche y exigente para las piernas, pero merece la pena.

Es war traumhaft! Alles lief super unkompliziert und einfach!Das Haus sieht genau so aus wie auf den Bildern, alles ist sehr sauber und der Ausblick ist traumhaft. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist perfekt abgestimmt auf die Anzahl der Gäste. Es gibt z.B. 2 Kühlschränke und 2 Geschirrspülmaschinen.Wir hoffen sehr, dass wir eines Tages wiederkommen können

Relaxing stay with family

Our family of 13 people (7-75) spent 11 nights at the villa. Facilities were great and the host welcoming. The spectacular views do come with the need travel through some steep and winding roads, but worth it for us!

A beautiful view and a lovely stay

This was a perfect choice for our week long visit with extended family. The villa is at the top of a hill and so has beautiful views down to the sea and at the rear the nearby mountains. Also unlike many holiday villas there are no close neighbours so it feels really private and you can truly relax and let the kids have fun in the pool. The driveway is steep but we quickly got used to it and frequently headed out to explore the area. Communication from the hosts was prompt and efficient and their property manager Frank was super responsive, friendly and helpful. Our whole group were really happy with the choice of villa and I have no hesitation in recommending it.

Magnifiques vacances. La maison est top et Frank et Ricky qui s’en occupe ont été super. Petite particularité à retenir, une voiture 4x4 pour y accéder n’est pas superflue…

Enjoyable but some issues

Just to start with I wanted to say we enjoyed our holiday and generally were pleased with the villa. Some issues did occur which were down to the property management rather than the owners who have been responsive throughout. The plus points of the villa are: - great views and peaceful environment - well equipped with plenty of space - internet worked well. - lovely pool area and relaxing small 'outside bath' Although I don't want to dwell on the issues I think it is important to mention so that the management can be improved. - we arrived and were told that we only had 5 of the 6 bedrooms as 'we have made up enough beds for 10 and there are only 8 of you'. Very odd that the management company can decide who sleeps where, what the group make up was and not asking the renters. This caused BIG problems for our autistic daughter and spoilt the first 24hrs until we could find a solution for her. - during the week the pool turned green with algae...despite contacting the management company we got NO response. The pool cleaners did arrive the next day and have subsequently been told it was due to being short staffed. The pool was out of action for 36hrs which was very frustrating. - do not underestimate the steep climb to access the villa. We did make it but were told by the management company the day before arriving that we should 'hire an SUV'...you don't necessarily need an SUV but you would feel more comfortable with something higher from the ground.

A good visit

We had a great time I the house. It’s a great place if you like it quite and nobody els around. Is was easy to check in and out again. If I would mention something, it would be nice with some more towels for the kitchen and there is also missing some head cloves for the oven. Also the fridge could be bigger. When the house is for around 12 people one fridge is not much for the amount of food and drinks. Overall it is a very find place.

Hidden Mountain Top Gem!

My friends and i booked this location for my wifes birthday. Her requests were: Pool/ Peaceful/ Near Sea/ Hot. This property offered all the above! Our party was only six, and given thia villa sleeps 12 we had plenty of space! The kitchen was plenty big enough to cook and entertain, large outdoor table where we enjoyed all our meals, we even used the BBQ three times. What really sold this property for me were the views, we could sea the sea, the sierra nevada mountains, and the pool and hot tub were absolutely perfect- all of this set in a lovely garden which has been nicely landscaped! All rooms were air conditioned so no staying cool while sleeping wasnt a problem! My only request would be that one bedroom door didn't lock and we weren't supplied as many towels as described - but none of these would put us pff coming back! Just a word of advice, I'd suggest hiring your own cad if you stay here as Torrox is a 20 minute drive - but Nerja (which is beautiful) is 25 minutes. I'd also like to point out that you need to be a confident driver to get to the villa, as you need to drive a dirt track which is very steep! It's certainly remote! But thats all part of the charm!

Wunderschönes Haus

Das Haus und der Außenbereich sind traumhaft! Wir haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen. Sauberkeit lässt leider etwas zu wünschen übrig (Flöhe in manchen Betten) und auch die Küche hat ein paar Defizite (zu kleiner Kühlschrank, verschmutzte Spülmaschine..) Die Fahrt zum Haus ist sehr beschwerlich. Man sollte sich auf jeden Fall ein passendes Auto mieten. Trotz Allem hatten wir eine wunderbare Zeit in der Villa Alegre und würden definitiv wieder kommen!

Maison superbe, très bien agencée, il y a tous tous, pour la cuisine, pour les enfants, pour être au calme, et plus que tout une vue exceptionnelle. un petit soucis le chemin mais c'est normal on ne peut avoir cette vue sans un peu d'effort. Et on l'oublie de suite une fois arrivée. Je recommande à 100/100

Fantastic location

A house that has a fantastic location with an incredible view, high standard of everything in the house, from the rooms to the kitchen, large and lovely pool area where you can spend the whole day without problems. Despite the fact that the house is high up in the mountain, it is very easy and smooth to get down to Torrox (10-15 minutes) where you can find everything from grocery stores to the beaches. The owners of the house are quick to answer questions 5 stars for Cindy Will recommend this house to friends and we will definately come back.

Superhaus - aber nicht im Winter

Das Haus liegt an exponierter, spektakulärer Stelle oben auf dem Berg und hat eine wirklich beeindruckende 360° Aussicht. Die Anfahrt ist allerdings etwas mühsam über steile, kurvige und enge Schotter- bzw. Betonwege. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist geradezu perfekt, es gibt sogar zwei Geschirrspülmaschinen - und auch sonst ist alles da, was man braucht. ABER: im Winter, wenn die Außentemperaturen nicht über 15°C liegen, kriegt man es einfach nicht warm. Es gibt zwar Heizmöglichkeiten über Klimageräte, mobile elektrische Heizkörper und einen Ofen im Wohnzimmer - so wie angegeben - , aber leider schafft man es nicht, das Haus für den Abend ausreichend zu heizen. Man muss also entweder sehr abgehärtet sein, oder wirklich genügend dicke Kleidung und warme Socken mitbringen. Wir haben jedenfalls am Abend die Raumtemperatur nicht über 18°C gekriegt. Das hat die Urlaubsstimmung ziemlich belastet. Das Olivenholz, das man im Ort kaufen kann, brennt nur sehr schwer an und erschwert die Beheizung entsprechend. Wir empfehlen das Haus allen Urlaubern, die die etwas umständliche Anfahrt nicht scheuen und die ansonsten ihre absolute Ruhe haben wollen. Besser ist es aber sicher, nicht im Winter da zu sein. Es ist einfach zu kalt! Leider fehlten in der Hausmappe auch einige Erklärungen (Arzt, Notfall, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurant-Empfehlungen) und vor allem Telefonkontakte zum Vermieter oder Hausverwalter. Bitte dringend ergänzen!
