Casa Mara is a magnificent airy light air-conditioned modern villa comprised of 2 separate dwellings in a very quiet private location . The top floor is entirely for use by the owners. The lower floor has 3 double rooms (1 en suite shower/wc) & a separate shower room/wc. It comfortably accommodates 7 people and benefits from stunning mountain views, several terraces, beautiful grounds, ample parking & a large private pool.
The villa provides a perfect holiday home in the sun for families or groups of friends or a peaceful romantic location for couples. Guests will always have exclusive use of the property as the owners never stay when guests are in residence. The guest accommodation is accessed via a well maintained stairway (please see photos if you have accessibility concerns.)
Location
Casa Mara - conveniently situated 45 minutes by car from Malaga airport and is close to the beach, the picturesque pueblos of Torrox and Frigiliana and bars, restaurants & nightlife of Nerja. It’s within easy reach of Malaga, Mijas, Marbella, Gibraltar & Granada.
This beautiful area of southern Spain has a great deal to offer regardless of what time of year you are visiting. Torrox benefits from a fantastic year round climate. In fact, it claims to have the best climate in the entire Mediterranean. The locals may be slightly biased but we’ve visited often throughout the year and their claim seems to be pretty well founded.
The villa is in a beautiful secluded countryside location not overlooked by anyone and just a few minutes by car northeast of Torrox Pueblo.
Interior
The interior of the villa is spacious, well equipped, newly decorated & tastefully furnished throughout with some original artwork. It provides a comfortable and relaxed space to enjoy with air conditioning.
3 double bedrooms: Bedroom 1 has an en-suite shower/wc, king size bed, fitted wardrobes, i-pod dock, air-con and has patio doors opening onto a dining terrace at the rear. Bedroom 2 has a king size bed plus an additional single bed if required, fitted wardrobes, i-pod dock, air-con and has patio doors opening onto a lovely terrace at the front. Bedroom 3 has a double bed & fitted wardrobes with impressive mountain views. All bedrooms have ceiling fans plus some additional free standing fans & heaters for winter months.
Separate shower room/wc.
Well equipped kitchen with a large fridge/freezer, ceramic hob, oven, microwave, smoothie maker, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, washing machine & all kinds of utensils/cookware/plates.
The air-conditioned living room is open plan & has 2 large comfortable sofas, table and chairs, flat screen TV for playing DVDs with a large & varied selection of DVDs to cater for all tastes/ages or you can simply hook up your own laptop/Firestick/Google Chromecast device and stream content.

Outside Areas
Without doubt the most impressive feature of Casa Mara, and something sure to make your holiday truly memorable, is the large secluded pool terrace at the rear with breath taking views where you’ll have exclusive private use of the 8m x 4m swimming pool. There are plenty of sun loungers & parasols. There is a gate between the accommodation and the pool for the safety and security of young children/vulnerable people. The newly refurbished pool is fitted with multi coloured LED lighting which creates a fantastic atmosphere on the terrace in the evening. There is also an outside dining table & chairs on the pool terrace under a shady pergola.
There is another al fresco dining table and chairs on the terrace directly outside the rear entrance to the villa, accessed via a flight of stairs from the pool terrace. This terrace can be accessed from inside the villa from the living room and the en-suite bedroom. It is equipped with a decent sized gas BBQ.
There are several other terraces including a roof top terrace perfect for enjoying a glass of wine & watching the sun set over the mountains, a terrace at the side of the property & a large stepped terrace at the front leading to/accessible from bedroom 2.
There is a large private gated driveway with parking for several cars. The property is equipped with CCTV cameras for your and the owners security for when the property is unoccupied
The beautiful garden has an abundance of colourful oleanders, bougainvillea & olive, orange, lemon & fig trees
