Pleasantly surprised

The property and surrounding area are great, and the views from the house are incredible. The house very comfortable and well appointed. It feels much larger than it is. That the kitchen is well stocked, not only with pots/pans/plates/utensils/tools, but also ingredients and basics to help you put a meal together is a really nice bonus. The little town of Torre has more to offer than we expected, and the drive over to Capitol Reef visitor center, 15 miles or whatever it is, is an absolute treat the entire way. We would absolutely stay there again.

The perfect getaway!

If you are looking for an amazing house that is just far enough away to give you the peace and quiet but close enough to the park and restaurant to not be inconvenient, look no further. The Townsends are the perfect host. We were greeted at the door to make sure we had everything we needed. They had all the basics stocked…coffee, beverages, water, emergency toiletries and even dog bowls and treats for our pooch! The house was immaculate and comfortable. And the views are to die for. The giant porches and windows were perfect for relaxing and soaking in the beauty of the area.

Beautiful vacation home with all the amenities

Linda & Martin's vacation home is beautifully built and furnished with lots of extras to make your stay convenient and memorable. Beds are very comfortable, kitchen has everything you need and the location is quiet and peaceful. Excellent hosts and communication. We would stay here again!

This was our tenth stay at this property, and it continues to be top-notch. The fridge stocked with water, soft drinks and beer has always been a very nice touch. Many thanks to Linda and Martin for their hospitality over the past few years.

Family vacation

We stayed here while visiting capital reef national Park. This place was perfect. It was clean and only a 10 minute drive away from the park. During the day we were able to go do a hike at the park then come back to the house to rest and let our dog out. The owner was very nice and had things stocked in the kitchen other verbo places would not have. It was very nice. The owner even put out a dog bowl with a few treats for our dog we brought. I would highly recommend this place to stay. And I would definitely stay here again.

More Fabulous Home Away From Home

This is my third time staying with at this vacation home. I luv the location. It is a very well thought out house. The morning deck has a view of the bluff and the afternoon deck is Boulder Mtn. A lot of personal touches. They thought of everything. Coffee, cool drinks. There kitchen has all things one needs to cook with. I’m very envious of it. a must stay at!

Great place in a nice neighborhood.

The property was impressive, very clean, nice appliances, and exactly what the pictures represented. The cabinets were very well organized, making it very easy to find what you were looking for and this property had everything you needed for a restful stay. The decks on the front and the back were very well maintained, had nice furniture, and were a great place to relax and read. The property had enough room for our family to rest comfortably after a day hiking in the close by areas. Linda is a great host and made sure everything was in good working order. My family and I would definitely stay here if we were in the area again.

Visit to Capitol Reef National Park

Our family had a wonderful stay at this property. The owners communicated well and responded promptly. Our only issue was the wrong key code to enter the house upon arrival, but Linda answered our phone call right away to help us in. The house was very clean and accommodating, the complimentary beers, soda and bottles of water were a nice touch. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely stay here. Highly recommend to anyone traveling to the area.

Desert getaway

Went to Capital Reef for a quick weekend getaway. The house was spacious and clean. There was a lot of thoughtful attention to detail. The kitchen is well stocked. So glad dogs are accepted. I would stay again!

Wonderful Home with Amazing Views

We came down to Torrey for rest and relaxation and we had it to ourselves. The home is so well laid out with big windows everywhere and tons of light and views. We were very cozy and it had everything we needed to cook (which is highly recommended in the winter) and relax. We will likely be back!

Great Stay in Torrey, UT

Ideal location near Capitol Reef, with great surrounding views. Nice welcome by Linda to make sure we were set. Home was very well supplied, from quality cookware to soft towels. Weather was perfect for exploring trails in Capitol Reef. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and even had a spectacular sunrise one morning to top it off.
