"The Reisen is a lovely place to stay in Hahndorf. Great for walking and exploring the town. Only negative is paying for a balcony room to be only looking at a tin roof. Not what the photos show"

"We chose this as it was close to family and it was cheap to be fair. The room was adequate, it was clean. Useful amenities. Breakfast was provided in the room. Bread for toasting was in the fridge ready and there were cereals and spreads for the toast to choose from plus the usual tea and coffee provided. The Blue Gums itself was a good bar with decent food. There was parking outside the room for your car, a bus route close by into the city and there was a shopping centre across the road....

"Staff were amazing, room was perfect - really comfortable. We ate in the restaurant on our second night and the food was delicious and again really friendly and helpful staff. I think it was Sandie that really went out of her way to just make sure everything was as needed."

"Parking is very limited if the hotel is full. OK its a renovated Horse Stable and its an experience which I would probably not repeat."
