Front line views over the golf course

  • Our elegantly-designed front-line town house at La Torre overlooks the 15th hole of the golf course. It is located in a quieter part of the resort, ideal for golfers or young families, being only 100 metres to two of the many children’s play areas and a short 8 minute walk from the nearest of the resort’s 22 swimming pools.

    The fully air-conditioned property has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The upstairs bedroom has a super king size bed, whilst in the downstairs bedroom you'll find two single beds. These can be pushed together to make another super king size bed, if you prefer. There is central heating throughout for those refreshingly cooler winter nights and free 300Mbps WiFi available throughout the house.

    The main bedroom is upstairs, with patio doors leading to the upstairs terrace and its vistas across the golf-course, palm trees and lake. On the terrace you'll find a table (with umbrella), four chairs and four new sun-loungers. We also have two lightweight, foldable loungers for use around the pools or at the beach.

    We supply a sat nav for guests, televisions in the lounge and both bedrooms, an Xbox plus two DVD players, a selection of over 350 DVDs, books and games, and a Bluetooth speaker. No need to buy bottled water, as we have a filter on the kitchen tap, supplying an endless amount of quality drinking water.

    La Torre Golf Resort: La Torre Golf Resort is spread over one square mile of sun-drenched Spanish countryside.

    La Torre is a truly Mediterranean community. Laid out around a verdant Jack Nicklaus-designed 18-hole golf course, its white-washed properties are a dazzling mixture of villas, semi-detached houses and luxury apartments, with wide avenues flanked by landscaped gardens and the most varied local flora. Its plentiful facilities include twenty-two large swimming pools, a driving range, outdoor gym equipment, table tennis tables, pétanque, padel and two tennis courts.

    Comfort, convenience and peace-of-mind are priorities at La Torre. It boasts a gated entry system and 24-hour manned security.

    The centrepiece of the resort is the 18-hole Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course. But it is not all about golf. You can take a dip in one of the twenty-two luxury swimming pools on the resort, practice your serve on the tennis courts, use the outdoor gym, table tennis and padel courts or have fun with the kids at one of the children’s playgrounds. If you want a break from the action, you can relax over a glass of the excellent local wine or enjoy fine dining in one of La Torre's bars and restaurants.

    The Resort includes shops, a large supermarket, a beauty salon and hairdressers and a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel. There are several restaurants and bars, including an Italian, Lakeside bar, The Clover pub, Pino's Bar, Sofia's, a Greek restaurant, an] Mediterranean restaurant and an Indian. (Please note: these are subject to seasonal opening.) From house to Resort centre is three-quarters of a mile (1.2 km), or around a 16-minute stroll.

    Local beaches: Los Alcázares, on the Mar Menor, has some of the finest beaches on the Costa Cálida ('The Warm Coast'). Several have won awards for their high standards. Along the promenade there are various bars, cafes and restaurants selling local tapas, along with play areas for children. A short walk inland is the centre of Los Alcázares town itself.

    Further along the Mar Menor are the fine sandy beaches at San Pedro del Pinatar. If you’ve had enough sand, try the village’s famous therapeutic mud which are believed to prevent rheumatism and arthritis.

    Or there’s Santiago de la Ribera, whose wide, newly refurbished promenade leads on to a sandy beach, with many beach front cafés and restaurants to sit and relax. You can also take a relaxing ferry trip from here across the Mar Menor to La Manga.

    For a little more seclusion, try the hidden gem of Torre de la Horadada, characterised by small private coves and warm clear waters.

Lovely Townhouse

Second time we have stayed here and both times have been great. Cannot fault the place and hope to stay again. Good communication from Mike house is fully equipped along with good WiFi, if you have to work whilst away like us.

La Torre stay

A super property with great views over the 15th tee and green. Well equipped and clean. About 5 minutes walk to a good pool. 15 minutes to the rear gate for Roldan and 10 minutes walk to Woodhouse golf bar, JoJo's cafe bar and Italian restaurant. Felt very safe under COVID restrictions at all times. Los Olivios is good for food and as always the Alhambra who will pick you up and take you back to La Torre. A relaxing stay overall thank you 😊

Super townhouse

This townhouse is exactly as advertised, simply a beautiful well decorated property, extremely well equipped and in a good location. My wife and I stayed here for 8 weeks and we had a thoroughly enjoyable time staying at the house, in the resort and the area of Murcia itself. Mike's, the owner, communications were excellent along with the information he provided which included all aspects of the house, golf resort, the local area and restaurant recommendations. Mike's representative on the resort Birnie supported us very well, we lost the key to the house one day but after phoning Birnie he had a new one cut and to us within 40 minutes. We'll certainly be recommending this property to family and friends.

The perfect holiday house

From the moment we arrived at this house our expectations were surpassed. This is the cleanest place we've ever stayed, completely spotless and well maintained. The house is right on the golf course and the first floor balcony offers great views and is spacious for everyone to relax. The owner and key holder were very helpful, and the information left for us was very useful and considerate, especially the groceries stocked for our arrival. The resort itself is lovely with pools within walking distance and more places to eat in the town of roldan.

Perfect stay in a very well equipped house

The house is very well equipped with everything required for a perfect stay. Although we quite often rent vacation homes since years, this was the first time we found: A fridge already prepared with everything required for a proper breakfast. A tablet PC to do the required registrations A navigation system that already contained a lot of destinations one would like to go to. Everything was tidy and in a very good shape.

Beautiful property

You could not wish for a better property to stay, there is everything you need and more. Two bathrooms are a bonus. The complex is extremely quite not all restaurants were open and the ones that were, were very busy. The pool area has no sun beds you have to take your own. The supermarket has everything you may want or need. All in all if you are looking for a golf getaway (our husbands really enjoyed the course) or a relaxing escape this is the place to go. Thanks Mike.

Top quality accommodation.

The listing description was accurate regarding the location, layout and facilities. The property was clean, well equipped and it was well-maintained. The Customer Service and communication with the owner was first class. I have already recommended the property to friends and relatives and will definitely go back and preferably soon. The golf course outside the property was in good order, the restaurant on site was top notch and the supermarket had a good choice of wine.

Great property with every home from home amenity.

The property was great and with all amenities that you expect. It really was a home from home. The resort however is very quiet. In fact it's a ghost town in early June. The intercontinental hotel in the development centre closed down several years ago and the associated restaurants around it have also closed. The golf club house is tired and staff totally disinterested in customers. Tables not cleared, floors dirty and generally poor all round. With a lack of facilities on site, it is 20 mins at least on the motorway to nearby restaurants and you soon get fed up with the constant driving.

Lovely townhouse with great golf views.

We have just returned from a lovely holiday staying on La Torre Golf resort, the the town house was well equipped with everything you could need. Kitchen had plenty of utensils fior self catering holiday. Lovely furniture nice touches, and plenty of books for you to read. Bernie was very helpful when we needed him, can't thank him enough. From booking till arrival Mike was very helpful with contact details, also directions from airport spot on.

Great townhouse

Great house over looking the golf course. Furnished lovely with a lot of thought to every detail. The sat nav was very helpful just the little touches plenty of books DVDs etc. The house was very clean and on a lovely tree line street. Great place to stay close to the beach, and other locations. Mike very helpful when booking, and directions great from airport

The house with it all

Very well appointed house in a wonderful location overlooking the golf course. Attention to detail by the owners is second to none with every eventuality having been catered for. Information provided is unbelievably comprehensive, with anything that one would want to know about the house or the area is available. Furnished Sun Terrace & Glass Curtained patio for those lazy days and nights. This house has it all.

A lovely well equipped and clean townhouse

The house was very well equipped, dishwasher, bbq, washing machine. Our girls loved selection of dvds internet access and a choice of excellent pools on the resort. The supermarket and shop on the resort were well stocked and reasonably priced. The resort was very quiet when we visited, but we enjoyed a very relaxing holiday. The road system near the resort was good for day trips out to the Coast (about 20mins) and Cartegna (about 40 mins). Owner information provided was excellent. We were met by Bertie on arrival who was very helpful. Would recommend to those looking for a relaxing holiday.

Townhouse perfectly situated for golfers.

Townhouse was lovely with al the necessary facilities and little extra touches which made it stand out. The patio area was lovely for dining alfresco, with super views looking onto the 15th green, The bed was extremely comfortable. Excellent level of customer service from the owner. We are golfers and it is a golfers paradise with an excellent choice of quality courses to play in the area. We would highly recommend it; but we don't want it to become too popular!

A delightful property overlooking the golf course.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this lovely townhouse. Facilities were of a high standard throughout. I would certainly recommend it to family and friends. The resort was quiet with very few people in residence during our sojourn and local restaurants appeared to be closed but it was late in Sept when we arrived. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

Lovely townhouse with great views over golf course

Myself, wife and 2 year old girl enjoyed a lovely 10 day break at this townhouse. The property was very clean and decorated tastefully to a high specification. It is situated in a quiet street and the centre of te resort (including Irish bar and golf club house) can be accessed via anice15 minute walk along the golf course path. The owners were very thoughtful and helpful providing a stair gate and cot on request and supplied a sat nav that came in handy. There are some good Spanish restaurants in the neighbouring towns (Venezuela in San Pedro del Pinatar was great) and a Chinese and Indian takeout 5 minutes drive away. There a several nice beaches within a 15-20 minute drive and several good well priced golf courses in the area. Overall we had a very relaxing break in a high quaily, child friendly, safe and peaceful environment.

First Class Property

This property was perfect in every way, it had everything we needed and more. The layout of the house is great for families as it is so spacious having the two terraces and a bedroom downstairs as well as upstairs (we had two teenage daughters) We loved the vast variety of music & films that are provided and even managed to have a daily game of scrabble, a game we haven't played for years - that's how chilled out we all were. The whole complex is so well maintained - it really is first class, the house was spotless. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to my family & friends and in-fact have done so already! The owner was so professional & informative throughout - booking the holiday was such a slick process and the house is exactly as described on the website! Would suggest you need a car so you can divide your time between complex and surrounding area for beaches & restuarants - think the ones on site are overated & over priced. Swimming pool was about 6 min walk which was fine for us - they were never over crowded and always clean and well maintained.
