Wonderful

This is our second stay with Steve and Jules and once again it didn't dissapoint, the property is lovely and offers all the amenities, atmosphere and everything you'd want for a nice holiday base. The village is great and has great shops, cafe's and a couple of takeaways all within a minutes walk

Superb lovely home and completely spotless!

My mother, sister and myself had a 2 night stay in this wonderful house. I wish it could've been longer. Every little detail is carefully and thoughtfully chosen to make your stay a delight. Gorgeous touches everywhere, lovely tasteful furnishings and contents. Each of the 3 bedrooms are gorgeous, hard to choose between any of them! Remarkably, for an older character property, it was absolutely SPOTLESS!! So often in rental properties we feel we have to rinse out a mug or wash glasses and cutlery before using them, but not here, they all looked as if they'd been polished! We briefly met the owner Simon, who was exceptionally friendly and pleasant. I was initially concerned about the lack of parking right outside the house, especially with an elderly Mum, but it proved to be unfounded. There was always ample parking a few minutes walk away. We would all stay here again in a heartbeat, and fully intend to!

Hübsches Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage

Das Haus liegt in Millbrook am Rande von Cornwall. Dort beginnt das eigentliche Cornwall in westlicher Richtung. Millbrook ist ein kleiner Ort mit aber einigen kleinen Geschäften. Das Haus befindet sich oberhalb eines Sees, an dem man schön spazieren gehen kann. Das Haus ist nett eingerichtet und man findet dort alles, was man braucht. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und reagiert sofort, wenn was nicht in Ordnung ist. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wer sich mitten ins Gewimmel stürzen möchte, ist hier vielleicht nicht ganz richtig. Wer aber ruhig wohnen möchte mit nicht viel Tourismus, fühlt sich hier sehr wohl. Von hier aus kann man auch Ausflüge machen, uns hat es gelangt. Es war dort wirklich alles, was man für einen schönen entspannten Urlaub braucht.

Family getaway

Easy to get to, getting in nice and easy and what a lovely surprise, the accommodation was so nice. Great touches as all of the items you need were there, so basically just add food. Comfy rooms and really feels like home, a real credit to the owners. Only downside was that we had leave but we had a wonderful family time.

Weekend in Millbrook

Property was a home from home. Tastefully decorated throughout and spacious. We were were able to park up for the weekend and go off and walk along the beautiful coastline; enjoying the scenery and sunshine! We made use of the local takeaways on our return in the evening. Can’t wait to go back!

Staying at Chandos Cottage

We had a lovely stay. All questions and concerns were taken care of on short notice - great hosts. The rooms were lovely, maybe a little to humid on the lower level, but we got used to that very quickly. The equipment of the bedrooms and kitchen were excellent, the living room was very cozy. We expected a tumble dryer because of the list in the description, but that was due to bad translation, there were airdryers. After asking we thankfully got access to a tumbledryer. The nearby Tregantle Beach was great, it’s a seven minute drive. In Millbrook there are plenty of options for grocery shopping, also takeaways (amazing fishχps) and a nice pub. Also, don’t pass on the Cornish Pod Bakery!! All in all we had a great time and would love to return sometime in the future.

Weekend Stay

Cottage is immaculate, spacious and beautiful. Only small issue was the lack of water pressure to the shower which would definitely improve with a pump system added. We really enjoyed our stay, beautiful beaches close by which we still managed to enjoy even in the high winds this weekend. Thank you for a wonderful stay 😊

Perfekt!

Ein wunderschönes Cottage mit so viel Liebe zum Detail, tollen grossen Zimmern und man hat alles was man braucht. Der Ort gefiel uns auch total gut um zu entspannen und die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Auch eine super Lage um Cornwall zu erkunden oder einen Ausflug nach Plymouth zu machen. Absolut empflehenswert!! Wir kommen sicherlich wieder!

Great stay, lovely cottage

We’ve just returned from a weeks stay at the cottage and we honestly couldn’t have been more pleased with it. The cottage itself has everything you need and a lovely garden to keep the kids entertained when we were there. Steve was really helpful and made sure we had a comfortable stay. The village was lovely with a few great cafes to get a bite to eat from. We found a great beach about 4 miles away which was quiet and a great way to spend the day with kids dipping in and out of the sea. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely Cottage

Everything was lovely & clean, lovely Cottage my only gripe is that the garden was all overgrown such a shame as would look lovely if maintained. Stopped us from sitting out & enjoying the weather.
