Toronto stay

Really nice neighborhood, he didn’t reveal until we got there that someone was staying in the apartment downstairs which would have been nice to know. He was very responsive and friendly when we had an issue with smoke alarm beeping. Overall nice stay easy to get to and beds were comfy!

4 night stay

The one of the reasons for a 3 and 4 star review, my friends had a 4 night stay and were not aware that there was a basement appt. with someone going in and out. Sometimes the doors were left unlocked! Toilet tissue ran out, we had to get our own, The location was beautiful for where we needed to stay! and a few other minor thingsand a few

Comfy Rancher in Richmond Hill

We were very comfortable during our stay at the VRBO. The house is roomy, it was clean and well set up with kitchen items and it worked as a place to stay over our family wedding. There are a few missing features to be aware of however. There is a huge lack of plugs in the house. Literally one plug in the kitchen, which meant all kitchen appliances had to be operated by constantly switching in one outset. There aren't very many plugs in the bedrooms either, so no nightables or lamps with a place to plug in a cell phone, which isn't critical, but would be nice.

Very comfortable home, excellent host

As with others reviewers of this rental, I have to agree that this house is very nice and comfortable for our family of 6 ppl. The host was very responsive to our needs and stayed in touch to make sure we were settled in. This house is located in A very safe and quiet neighborhood With huge mansions all around. But this house was just the right size for our family to visit all around Toronto. We didn’t encountered any issues so we don’t have any complaints or conerns that needed mentioning.we will definitely rent here again next time we visit Toronto. Thanks Maddie!

Relaxing stay in Excellent surroundings

We had 5 nights at this excellent location in Richmond Hills north of Toronto. The house is in excellent condition with lots of space and a very well working-low-noise air condition system. The house is equipped with all your needs and the garden serves for privacy. Accessing the house is easy, and communication with the host was very easy. There's a big TV with Apple TV to allow easy access for entertainment. The location is in a very rich neighbourhood with sidewalks and plenty to see for short walks. You feel very secure here. The description of the house and the additional tennant below should not be seen as a downside. You will barely notice his presence, and there's no noise. Driving around in Richmond Hill you find easy access to restaurants and malls all with a very high quality. I can give my honest recommendations to anyone that considers this house as a base to explore the surroundings of Toronto (45min drive even in heavy traffic).

Nice stay in a cute neighborhood

The neighborhood was beautiful and had some really nice houses. Many people would go on walks in the evenings. Great central location to drive to Vaughn or Toronto or many other areas quickly and easily.

Family visit for graduation

The purpose of our stay was to attend a graduation at York University. This house was reasonably close to the university and much more comfortable than nearby hotels would have been. We did not cook dinners but did enjoy breakfasts and snacks together.

Good location, nice place!

We enjoyed our stay and Maddie was great communicating with me. The house was clean and had everything we needed. It is in a nice location and easy to get to Toronto. The only negative was that it was a little awkward when whoever lives downstairs comes and gos and they have to walk right outside of the back windows. But overall a good rental!

In the shadow of giants

This is a very cute bungalow in a very nice neighborhood. The neighborhood is definitely in prestigious status. Maddie is a wonderful host with excellent communication. The house is as described, clean and comfortable. The fenced yard is a huge bonus for my dogs.

Enjoyable Stay in the Toronto Suburb of Richmond Hill

This 3 bedroom remodeled home was exactly what we wanted! It had a queen size bed in each bedroom, 2 full baths and a spacious kitchen and living room. Located in upscale residential and quiet Richmond Hill, this house is one of the original homes built among newer large mansions that are being built all around the area. Maddie was very helpful in making sure our stay was comfortable and was available when we needed anything. The place is well maintained. There is even a washer and dryer downstairs for our use. Even though there are 2 TV's in the house, please note that they are all set up for streaming only. There are many restaurants and shops within a mile from the house. Be aware that central downtown Toronto is about 40-60 mins away by car depending upon the traffic which there always seem to be traffic at all times of the day! Public transportation wasn't an option for us so we incurred lots of tolls on the 407 going back and forth into the city. It may take a bit longer, but if you can, avoid using the 407. Thanks Maddie for the use of the house and a wonderful stay in the Toronto area.

What a great place to stay with my blended family. Impeccably clean and it looks exactly like the photos. It was absolute treat to spend a few nights here for our Wonderland vacation as it is a short fifteen minute drive to the park. Everything else we needed, we found within a very short drive. Thank you to our host. Will definitely stay here for our next trip to Wonderland.

Absolute gem

Fantastic place to stay! Conveniently located near retail, dining, groceries and Canada's Wonderland. Loved the spacious backyard setting nestled in a beautiful neighborhood! Host was pleasant accommodating and accessible. We would absolutley book this rental for a future visit to the area.

Family vacation to Toronto

This home is beautiful and spacious! The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and conveniently located near playgrounds, restaurants, and shopping areas. With no traffic, we were able to drive to Toronto within 30 minutes. However, during peak hours, traffic can cause your commute to Toronto to be closer to an hour. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at this property and exploring Toronto!

Great experience

I highly recommend this VRBO renter. He was always available to answer questions and to provide any thing that we required. The house was perfect for our vacation and in a beautiful neighborhood. There was significant construction going on in the neighbourhood, but that is because it’s a very nice neighbourhood with lots of development. I would highly recommend.

My family and I recently stayed at Maddie's place and while there were some positives, there were also a few notable drawbacks that impacted our overall experience. First and foremost, Maddie, the host, deserves praise for her friendliness and responsiveness. She was attentive to our needs and promptly accommodated our request for an early check-in, which we greatly appreciated. However, upon entering the house, we were immediately greeted by a concerning issue - a strong and unmistakable smell of mold. This was quite off-putting, and unfortunately, it persisted throughout our stay. As a result, both my husband and another family member have been experiencing persistent coughing even after ten days since our departure. The house is located in a very upscale neighborhood but the place could use some upgrades.
