I have travelled internationally for over 30 years and the wheelchair accessibility was far below what I would expect for this property and the price. It wasn’t safe. Luckily they allowed me to park is the neighbouring building’s lot because their accessible parking was FAR from the front doors are at the bottom of a steep hill. Entrance doors did not have automatic door openers and also had a steep ramp. The room had an automatic door but it wasn’t working. The bed was the WORST - it was not accessible at all. It was far too high. I almost fell multiple times trying to transfer. It was a stressful - physically and mentally - experience. I couldn’t access the plug near the bed to charge phone - because it was behind the bed. I couldn’t hang any clothes bc rod was far too high. I couldn’t close blinds for privacy. On top of that, at 4am all I could hear was plumbing / water from another room , including loud clanking noise. I would’ve had a safe, more relaxing stay at a Holiday inn for 1/4 of the price.
