I highly recommend this condominium to anyone that wants to stay in the heart of Toronto. The apartment is fully equipped and clean. The view is absolutely amazing. The big plus is it's in walking distance to everywhere; CN tower, ripleys aquarium train station, Starbucks, restaurants, grocery and lots more. CF eaton centre (mall) is easily accessible by train from the train station. I will be using more of their apartments for future travel. I give 5 stars

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL! I would never recommend this GlobalStay host to anyone. The check-in process was complicated. I booked 24 hours prior to my booking and they send you a message that the check-in information will be sent in 3 days. When you call the number they provide, no one picks up and the call keeps dropping. Once we arrived at the property, the unit wasn’t properly cleaned, there was hair in the towels and the dryer was full of stuff. The A/C system wasn’t cooling down the space at all and the couch was falling apart. There was no internet connection, nor was there any modem for that matter. When you try to contact their “24hours support” that they promote on their pamphlets, again NO ANSWER! I was there for work and couldn’t get anything done, I missed meetings and they did nothing. When I got Expedia involved they suddenly answered them and said they refused to refund anything. Now they are lying about having answered my call when I have the logs that they never did. NEVER STAY HERE! !!

When we got into the apartment Wednesday evening, the washer was half full of dirty water, dryer full of wet towels and bedding. Were able to get dryer going (circuit breaker had tripped because overloaded with wet stuff), but not the washer. I called Global Stay and was told they'd have their "local agent" check it out the next day. Somebody did come in the apartment while we were out Thursday, because the door was left unlocked, but the washer was in the same condition. I called GS again that evening, and every day after. Each time I received excuses, promises and BS, but no action. To cap it off, at exactly our checkout time the next Tuesday, the "local agent" was at the door with two appliance repair people. Other than that, the apartment wasn't too bad - lots of minor problems such as burned out bulbs, no plugs in sinks, no curtain in bedroom and mold in the showers.

The light from the bathroom don’t work. We were dark the whole time ( 10 days) with 2 elderly person. I reported showing photos and they just confirm of received. The curtains are dropping the whole time. I ordered food and after the driver left the food in the lobby. Was stole. The water from the washroom was white like milk.

I would not rent from them again. Aside from the fact that the unit they gave us did not have a lake view as was stated in their description, the unit itself was not like any of the pictures shown on the site. The unit we did get was smaller, but decent, except the linens that were in the dryer that were suppose to be in the sofa bed. The building itself was nice, very busy and the location was perfect for our trip. The communication, although prompt was not great. Also, we checked in during a storm and had to wait outside for someone to drop off the keys, even though we told them what time we would get there. While the area was great and we will definitely be back to Toronto, we would not use Globalstay.

They missed the mark on simple things!
If you are traveling from the US, beware that they actually charge $200 to your credit card at check-in vs. placing an authorization. This will result in you losing roughly $10 USD when they credit you back at the end of the stay. I did not appreciate that. Also, while the unit had two bathrooms, there was only one waste basket in the unit, and it was located under the kitchen sink. Lastly upon check-in, we noticed that the dishwasher was full of dishes, the dryer had a set of sheets in it, and we couldn't use any hangers in the bedroom because wet towels and washcloths were hanging on each one.

The suite was very clean and in excellent condition. I have stayed at suites run by other companies where this was not the case so I was very pleased to find this unit run by Globalstay. The communication was also excellent and all questions were answered quickly.

For a large party like mine (2 Adults/3Kids/2Dogs) this property was great. Right in the dead center of the city everything was easily accessible. Coordination with the host via webapp or mail was good. Host was able to resolve the issues (parking for me) in real time. As long as it is understood that its not a hotel and amenities are going to be limited, this place is perfect for a visit to Toronto.

The room was decent. I would come back, because the price is good. Although I didn't know that I suppose to register my personally information before arrival. The email from Globalstay went to Spam, I didn't read until I already arrived. I couldn't reach them by phone, It took me 2 hours to get in. I didn't like the fact there are so much rules of the appartment, such as put the dishes in dishwashers and start, not leaving trash, etc. I didn't feel like at home.

The location is the only highlight of this property. Not quite sure about the cleanliness - although the place looked clean, I don't know how hygienic/sanitized it was. The cleaning rags were underneath the kitchen sink drying, we were left a used sponge for cleaning dishes, suggesting the same rags/sponges are used in between guest stays. The cup in the bathroom was dirty, there were stains on the curtains which we notice when they were closed. The curtains didn't fit the windows, nor the vertical blinds - leaving privacy an issue (there was a gym in the building across from our unit). The lighting in the living room was poor (only one corner lamp which flickered). The sofa was a futon and not comfortable at all to sit on after a long day of touring. The place could use some simple maintenance, like painting the drywall patches and an overall paint job in general - and at least putting a battery in the very nice wall clock over the TV. Oh, and NO TOILET PAPER!! I called upon arrival and said they will send someone over; I messaged the next morning and they said they were looking into it. Nothing arrived during our stay. Communicating with GlobalStay was very responsive - but the actions were not.

I knew the price was too good to be true. This is in the ICE condos, it has a bit of reputation. They made us pay the deposit via PayPal, charged a second occupant fee, any place I've ever rented has always been based on double occupancy, not this place... Check in was super sketchy, they wouldn't let us wait in the lobby even though it was cold out. Had to buy extra TP because they only left one roll in the condo for our nine night stay. Ridiculous

The apartment was nice, the view was spectacular. Accommodation was comfortable and clean. Getting the key was easy, but it didnt work and we had to wait over 2 hours for someone to fix the issue. The company also had a list of requirements and documents that they had to have, If I had known this prior to booking I would have made other arrangements. I was unable to cancel the booking.

Very good location. Facilities are good. The hosts communicate only through mail, and the guard in the building - do not know anything . This caused our checkin to be inconvenient, and took sometime to get to the appartment. We found the gym only on the 4th day, and we asked for a second key (5 adults with a single key is not reasonable), and did not get.

Was waiting for almost 4 hrs to check in and saying technical error. After get it door closed and no one answered but after others 20 mins to open door. No key fob to enter building after check in. Poor communication but good location. The place is over price with what you had paid. Dirty washroom and lack of services. Better to pay for hotel with the same price

Apartment I got was on the 50th floor, and the view was facing west, so I got the island airport, CN tower, sunset, etc. all clearly visible. Quite nice. Easy walk to Union station, Go station, CN tower, aquarium, waterfront, conference centre. Nearby groceries, Tim Hortons, Starbucks, restaurants, pubs. Fob required for entry and elevator use which adds some security, but awkward if you're a group wanting to come and go at different times. Apartment didn't match description. Got a queen couch, not a double twin couch as listed. I specifically wanted the extra non-couch bed. This was a surprise upon arrival, so poor communication. Floor in front of bathroom was warped. Easily avoided, but surprising. One of the bedside lamps had a broken switch. This didn't affect me, but again, surprising. In general the place was maintained, just a few odd spots. There were dishes, pots and pans, extra sheets, towels, garbage bags, dishwasher pods, but oddly just the one roll of toilet paper... just be aware you may need to supply your own!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf CN Tower und Rodgers Center, die Wohnung war sauber aber ein bisschen gebraucht. Es hat uns wegen der Aussicht nicht gestört. Check in und das Parkieren war schon eine Herausforderung.

Great location. Host had good communication. Self check in and parking instructions were clear. Beautiful unit with a beautiful view.
