The house itself was renovated and in a nice quiet area. Due to an issue with the app, we were unable to get the access information on time and it took a little bit to get a hold of the host to get the info and enter the house. But the host was kind and immediately sent the info once we were able to finally get a hold of her. When we arrived we entered to unexpectedly find the cleaning crew was still inside cleaning way after our check in time of 3pm. They quickly finished and left but the sheets were unclean, nothing was stocked, and dirty dishes were left in the sink. The host was responsive and quickly sent the cleaning crew back to clean and with supplies, but it was a bit of an inconvenience to have to wait for them to come back. The master bedroom mattress was definitely overdue for a replacement. There were also a lot of cigarette butts found outside, which may have been from the people living in the basement. There were no instructions provided for check out and we had to follow up with the host to ask for the information. Overall, the house itself was nice, it was just not cleaned and ready at check in time.

The house was very clean and organized the neighbourhood was good and friendly with a lot shops nearby with good walking distance. The host was kind and helpful with questions and concerns that I had. Would definitely recommend booking this house again later down the future.

Overall impression of this stay was that we felt like we were at home. The host made sure that everything was smooth and prepared and was respectful while doing so. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is travelling with a large group, as it is spacious with many rooms. The host allowed me to celebrate and prepare for my wedding with cleanliness, respectfulness and ease. Thank you!

The host was very responsive and helpful. The beds were comfy and it was in a great location with a park within walking distance and surrounded by all the amenities you could need. We had 3 adults and 4 teens in the house and were all comfortable throughout the week.

The house suited our needs. We had 8 people. Love the Bosch appliances. Communication with Daniel was very good and very quick to respond to my many questions. The check-in was not as smooth, the house was still being prepared when we arrived, therefore had to wait to access the house. The open layout was very nice and there was many sittting areas. It looked like it was recently renovated therefore a few more finishing touches was required (very minor). We were not aware that the basement was occupied until we arrived (should be noted on the ad). It was nice that we were able to have people in the house (very few VRBO rentals allow for this). The house was clean. Location is close to amenities. Although, we did not use the backyard, it was a good size. I would rate as 4.5 stars

Bad reviews are 100% TRUE for this listing.

Never would have thought it would happen to us. There were no bad reviews when I booked in Jan 2025. Our trip was early July 2025 and I prayed that the two recently added reviews with negative feedback were inaccurate but they were 100% TRUE. Literally came to the house later after checking in to find random people working on two cars in the houses driveway. I thought I had burglars at the house! The men casually told us they lived in the basement. We had to wash all linen before sleeping in it, sweep the dirty floors, clean the bathrooms, and clean the kitchen and fridge prior to using it. The side yard is piled with garbage and stinks so you can’t enjoy the backyard. Definitely unpleasant stay.

It is not disclosed anywhere in the description of this home that there are people living/staying in the basement. We also shared the driveway with 3 other vehicles. Despite contacting the owner, no explanation was provided. We found the house to be tidy but dirty. Not sure the sheets were changed from the last guests as there was animal and human hair found on a few different beds. No top sheets, just fitted. Fortunately, we found clean sheets and changed the linens ourselves. Toilets were dirty. No garbage in the kitchen. Huge urine stain on the primary room's mattress. Only 1 cushion found for the outdoor furniture. Tags left on every piece of furniture in the house. The house is non-smoking but there were A LOT of cigarette butts in the front flower bed and driveway. However, our biggest complaint was the fact that we were not informed that we would be sharing the house. I have photos but it's not allowing me to add them at this time.
