A Great Experience

The outside of the Gite was charming, the inside was beautifully decorated, and the location was bucolic! Our host, Jean-Claude, suffered through the butchering of my French language skills and very kindly helped us get settled in. The kitchen was fully equipped and the main bath was well appointed. The area around the Gite was very pretty and the villagers were very polite. I would love to go back again as Normandie has so much to see.

Wundervolles Ferienhaus

Dieses Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen. Es ist sehr gepflegt und neu ausgebaut.Alles, was man benötigen könnte, ist vorhanden, auch eine Garage.Der freundliche Hausbesitzer gibt eine gute Einweisung, wohnt selbst gleich um die Ecke und kümmert sich um das Anwesen. Auch Ausflugstipps gibt er gerne.Die Lage ist sehr verkehrsgünstig mit guter Anbindung an die Autobahn. Als Ausgangspunkt für Ziele in der Manche bestens geeignet.

Beautiful house for tranquill relaxed holiday

We went as three adults, mother and two adult children one of whom autistic. The house was spacious, well appointed, with a great garden and outside seating was functional. Garage to put car in . We enjoyed exploring htis area and found lots to amuse ourselves, with long country walks, beach visits, bayaeux tapestry and zipwiring very local!Having a quiet retreat is essential for my autistic daughter and she enjoyed moving around the space.

Excellent stay!

We had a lovely time in this lovely property. There was plenty of space for six of us, and we especially loved the fire place! The location was perfect - less than an hour's drive to all the sites we wanted to visit in Normandy, from Mont Saint Michel to the D-Day beaches. I highly recommend!

Property in Guilberville

We enjoyed our stay very much - everything we needed was in the property. The host, Jean-Claude was most welcoming and friendly. Most mornings we could get fresh croissants from the boulangerie in the village and there is a good local restaurant just 5 mins up the road. We especially appreciated the washing machine and tumble dryer as the weather in October was not ideal for drying clothes.

Tolle Unterkunft!

Wir haben einen sehr schönen Urlaub in diesem supergepflegten Haus verbracht. Der Empfang durch den Besitzer war sehr nett, ebenso wie die Einführung in das Haus. Der Besitzer wohnt in der Nähe und ist da, wenn man etwas braucht, ansonsten ist man ganz für sich. Der Garten ist groß und komplett eingezäunt, gut für Hundebesitzer. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und hat 2 WCs und ein Bad, so dass man auch mit mehreren Personen gut klar kommt. Wir haben besonders die Wohnküche mit großem Esstisch und die Terrasse und den Garten genossen. Die Lage des Hauses ist perfekt für Ausflüge in alle Himmelsrichtungen geeignet. Von Bayeux über die Landungsstrände bis zu den Stränden an der Westküste und dem Cap de la Hague ist alles zu erreichen und bietet viel Abwechslung. Wir hatten 2 sehr schöne Wochen.

Ein angenehmer Aufenthalt

Wir haben die Ferienwohnung sehr genossen. Der Gastgeber hat uns nett empfangen und die Wohnung gezeigt. Die Kinder haben es geliebt, im komplett umzäunten Garten zu spielen und die Schafe auf dem gegenüberliegenden Grundstück zu beobachten. Das Haus selbst ist gut ausgestattet und war sauber. Die Lage war ideal, um mehrere Ziele in verschiedenen Richtungen anzufahren. Merci de cet agréable séjour!

Elegant and Spacious

Jean-Claude's converted family home was wonderful. It was elegant, spacous, very clean, well equipped, well decorated, and just a pleasure to spend time in. It is a very quiet neighborhood. It had everything we needed for our stay. Cooking was easy. Doing laundry was easy. The kitchen diner was great for breakfasts and the more formal dining area was great for dinners and games of Scrabble. Jean-Claude was welcoming and helpful. It would have been even better if we had spoken French as it would have allowed us to converse more with Jean-Claude. The location is central for exploring Normandy with access to both the east and west coast of the peninsula. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Jean-Claude

Charming, comfortable and central to all Normandy!

This gite couldn’t have been more perfect for our week traveling around the department. We travelled in every direction and found every comfort when we got “home” whether we had to make a meal, warm up or chill out! M. Corbrion is a gracious and super knowledgeable host who shared his passion for the region in many ways up front and was available if needed. We could easily have had the same experience with the 2-4 others who were originally going to travel with us.

Unbelievable!

Property was as described and more. Host was awesome! Google translate and you are in a conversation. He is very accommodating to non-French speaking visitors. One hour or less from everything. A beautiful spot in a great part of the country. 15 minute drive to three major grocery stores. I hope to return, a home away from home. Merci Jean-Claude!

Absolutely lovely property. Great base location to visit many sights in Normandie. Village is lovely and the people are friendly. There is everything in this property you would need. Child equipment is good. Travel got, change mat, potty and even a sippy cup. Seating and beds are very comfortable. Host is a lovely man. Can’t recommend this property enough. Superb.

Clean and God house

The owner is very friendly, showed us on arrival where there was something beautiful to see. The emails beforehand came quickly and were adequate. In the house there was a bunch of flowers to welcome. The house is clean. The necessary equipment is there, even a (hand) lemon squeezer and a cheese slicer! From the house you can easily reach sights in all directions by car.

Toller Gastgeber und sehr schönes Haus

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus hat eine tolle Ausstattung und sehr viel Platz. Es hat sogar einen großen Garten und eine extra Garage. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett, super hilfsbereit und gastfreundlich. Er hat uns eine sehr gute Einführung und Tipps gegeben. Wir wären gerne noch viel länger geblieben, leider ist ein Urlaub zu kurz. Die Lage ist gut und zentral für Ausflüge. Es ist nicht weit zur Autobahn, die man allerdings auch bei offenen Fenster etwas hört - uns hat es nicht gestört. Wenn wir wieder ins Département Manche kommen, dann gerne wieder hier.

Perfektes Ferienhaus

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem traumhaften Haus sehr genossen. Da wir mit Hund verreist sind, war natürlich das großzügige und vor allem eingezäunte Grundstück ein ganz besondere Highlight. Das Haus ist tatsächlich perfekt: viel Platz, die Ausstattung läßt keine Wünsche offen und besonders hervorzuheben die Sauberkeit. Ach die Lage war für uns ideal, da sehr zentral. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten der Umgebung und auch die Strände sind gut erreichbar, also perfekt für Tagesausflüge. Im Ort gibt es eine Bäckerei und einen kleinen Laden, in dem man alles für den kleinen Bedarf erhält. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt erreicht man alle Supermärkte wie Carrefour, Lidl und Aldi wobei ich auch jedem die kleinen Läden in Torigni-sur-Vire ans Herz legen kann. Ich empfehle dieses Haus und den herzlichen Gastgeber uneingeschränkt weiter und komme gerne wieder.
