We came up from FL with dear friends and kids to spend our Spring Break and had such a fun week! We come up to the mountains every year and this cabin was the best yet. We saw snow, rented a pontoon, hiked to the lookout tower, went to the casino, but mostly hung out at the property. The lake is beautiful and I was so impressed at how it had everything we needed. Kayaks, life jackets, enough chairs, silverware, towels, all the little things! The cabin was so comfortable and the Blackstone made cooking all those meals fun. We will be buying one! One note is to definitely stock up on food. There was not much open nearby and the good restaurants were over 30 minute drive away. Greg was a great host and I really hope we can come back in the summer so we can really enjoy the lake! Thank you for sharing your beautiful space.

Greg, our host was amazing! He made sure we had all of our important information (directions to cabin and cabin instructions for hot tub and other amenities) ahead of visit. He also checked in frequently to make sure everything was going well for us The cabin speaks for itself! This beautiful all wood cabin was extremely clean, completely furnished with kitchenware, linens, towels and even toiletry items just in case you forgot something. The scenery around the cabin is breathtaking with clear views of the mountains and the lake. There are plenty of entertainment options to keep everyone in the family occupied, including but not limited to, the hot tub, pool table, corn hole, a game room furnished with plenty of games and puzzles, two fire pits, plenty of water toys and so much more. It was spacious, cozy and very welcoming. If you are looking for the perfect cabin for a mountain retreat, this cabin is pure serenity! We can't wait for our next stay!

We had a wonderful stay! House was perfect for our family. Loved the fire pit, the lake, and all of the kayaks and paddle boards! The location was quiet and peaceful. Just what we needed. We hope to come back!

We enjoyed our time as well as the location. The host did a great job in communicating and proactively reached out to us proir to arrival. We enjoyed having the ability to cook a lot of food at once on the Blackstone. The weather was nice and we most definitely enjoyed playing several rounds on the pool table.

Wonderful for family reunion

Beautiful spacious well equipped house. En suite bathrooms for each bedroom a plus. Tucked into the mountains with beautiful views on a protected cove with a great dock for boating swimming and sunning.Steep driveway and winding roads make getting in and out less easily accessible but well worth the trip. Communication with Greg were always prompt.

Spring vacation

We visited this beautiful cabin during spring break with 4 of our children. It was beautiful the view of the cabin, the view from the cabin, inside of the cabin was very clean just amazing. The beds very so comfortable I have not slept on a more comfortable mattress in a while. Each room had their own private bathroom even the room for the kids. Definitely will be coming back to this beautiful cabin.

Perfect cabin, beautiful mountains!

We just got home from a week at the Cabin. None of us wanted to go home, the cabin was perfect. We even spent extra days just at the cabin and enjoying the Lake. Greg gave us very detailed instructions and answered any questions we had promptly! The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed and then some. The internet was a little slow, but we were just happy to have internet in the Mountains. We had a couple beautiful mountain storms come through. I think we might have lost power, but if we did it wasn't obvious because of the Generac generator. If you are planning a trip to NC this cabin is a must!

Beautiful house and location

The house was beautiful and had everything you needed to stay and enjoy the lake. The best part of everyday was sitting on the deck overlooking the lake and drinking coffee. The fire pit was a plus and would definitely recommend this house. We hope to be back soon,

Property was large and clean with amazing views of the lake and mountains. Greg was a pleasure to work with. At no fault of the owner, the property is a little difficult to access, there was road/underground utility construction, and a home renovation happening next door (Greg kindly notified us in advance). All in all a great experience and definitely a 5 star property.

Great house, beautiful view!

The layout of the house was great and we really enjoyed the large decks/porches where we spent hours enjoying the view and watching the birds at the feeders. The kitchen was well equipped which made meal making a pleasure. The hot tub was wonderful and larger than most we have seen at other rentals. Greg was a great host. He gave us all the info we needed for our stay at the house up front so we had an easy check in and stay. I would definitely stay here again when it is warmer to enjoy all the lake activities

Incredible Getaway

Couldn't ask for better scenery or property amenities, being tucked away in the mountains! The kayaks and paddle boards were MUCH appreciated. Views from the decks were one-of-a-kind, and the night sky totally captivating. The water is very clear and clean, and the fire pit was a nice touch and use of the outdoor space. I will note that for anyone with knee issues, this is probably not the easiest location for mobility, so please read through other reviews before determining if this is the right property for you. The property manager was very responsive, and provided helpful insight regarding our route to the cabin -- which would have had us on the Tail of the Dragon after a long day of travel (we did take this route back home, and while challenging, it was an awesome experience).

NC Mountain Stay

The cabin was beautiful and truly fully furnished. But I did not go to the mountains to be woken up at 7:15 every morning with screaming, hollering, and banging by the construction workers building a house 2 lots over. This went on until 5-6pm everyday. It made it unenjoyable to sit on porch for morning coffee or being on the dock and swimming around the cove.

Friends Getaway

My girlfriends and I thoroughly enjoyed this property for a weekend getaway on the water. The house was perfect for us and provided plenty of fun things to do without leaving the property. It was quiet, beautiful, fun and comfortable.

The property and location are stunning. Host is extremely helpful and responsive. It is very remote, plan accordingly as a day trip to a nearby town will take all day. It’s a great place to rest and relax!

Beautiful home and location

We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to be back. The house is gorgeous, clean and well stocked. The lake views are breathtaking. We had the best time playing pool, enjoying the kayaks, etc. We never wanted to leave. Highly highly recommend.
