Se Lake Terr
The house was clean and the kitchen well-stocked. In the summer the screened-in front porch would be great. It is very close to Lake Shawnee and walking trails

Lake house
The location is great and the house was cozy. The owner was quick to respond to questions and that was appreciated because of schedules. The porch and house could have been more clean. I had to actually clean some things like the refrigerator and mostly the screened porch needed cleaning. We did use it and enjoyed it for morning coffee. Very comfy.

Nice location, clean and all the amenities you need. I would recommend property owner replace window coverings with more privacy window coverings. Loved the covered porch and location!

Lake House
The lake house was nice with a great location. However the property and house need a thorough cleaning. We could not use the fire pit and years due to weeds and tall grass. The inside of the house definitely needs a good cleaning.

Nice place
Such a nice part of Topeka, a block away from Shawnee Lake and beautiful Ted Ensley garden. Seth came in 10 minutes when I was befuddled by the door lock on arrival, and explained it more completely than he had in check-in email. Further questions I put to him on later days went unanswered, even though I used the VRBO communication platform. I had to guess how to check out. The covered patio was a bonus; very quiet and nice.

Pleasant Stay
I booked this VRBO for my brother and his family who was in town for a birthday party. The VRBO was clean, in a safe location and exactly how it was featured on the website. Check-in was easy and the property had all the amenities that was needed for a weekend or longer stay. Thanks for the nice stay!

Great the little house with cool screen porch
My son and I really enjoyed this place as we prepped to race the Unbound 200 gravel race in Emporia. The bedrooms were spacious, and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was a peaceful neighborhood with lots of trees, birds, and friendly neighborhood dogs. We really enjoyed sitting outside in the screen porch. We would be happy to stay here again.

Great place to hang out!
Every year four of us get together and get away for the weekend. We needed a new place to go, and I discovered this lil gem. It's less than an hr away from KC, which is all the farther we want to go! It's a cute neighborhood. The house is cute, but the best part is the screened in porch, which we totally took advantage of. We decided this will be our new place for our GF getaway!!

Cozy cottage with everything you need
Just as pictured, charming details of an older home thats been well kept. Chose for the fenced yard for our puppy(more on that later) Didnt have any "old house smells" of mold or anything, sonce i have allergies thats a concern. But none of that! All the linens were immaculate! Communication with the owners were excellent. They were exceptionally kind when our puppy left an embarrassing surprise that we missed on checkout. Would stay again (if they let us😉)

The property is walking distance to the lake. The house was small but clean. We really enjoyed the screen in porch. I would recommend this property. We enjoyed our stay. The beds are all comfortable and the air conditioner worked GREAT. Temps were 100 +.

Relaxing

Good stay
We had a nice stay. The house is close to the park/lake and we enjoyed the park - the lake was closed because of blue-green algae while we were there. House is small, cute and was clean. Bathroom is very small, but as pictured. I didn’t find a hair dryer or enough coffee pods for our stay, but those are minor things. Good communication from owner. We were in the area for an event so not sure how much there is to do around there. But if we were in Topeka again I would stay here for sure. Thanks!

Overall it was a wonderful time. We had a little trouble with the main lock to the house having to push down on the door for it to latch otherwise was perfect for us, as a place to stay for a friend's wedding

Pleasant Topeka Stay
The house was as advertised and extremely. Seth was quick to respond to all messages and quickly addressed any issues. The inside of the house was exactly as advertised and the screened in porch was great. The fenced in back yard was really overgrown with weeds as was the fire pit. We had to dig out the fire pit just to make it functional. All in all the house met our needs but the outdoor space could use some TLC.

House by the lake
The house was on a dead end street right across the lake. . Nice and quiet. Screened in porch was an added bonus. Loved the location and space. We are already thinking about our next trip there.
