"Unter Bäumen, direkt am Taff Trail liegt das "The Old Art & Coffee House". Eine liebevoll eingerichtete Unterkunft, die auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt sehr gut ausgestattet ist. Nur wenige Kilometer entfernt können Castles besucht werden. Cardiff kann bequem mit dem Zug erreicht werden. Im Theater sahen wir die "The Chicago Blues Brothers" und "Thank you for the music". Da wir es geschafft haben, aus dem Escap e Room herauszufinden, konnten wir am Strand von Barry Island die Sonne genießen....

"This was only intended for an overnight stay on a business trip - somewhere to sleep. However, this is a really lovely pub! We stayed for dinner and a few beers, which was both really tasty and excellent value, and breakfast was also first-class. The staff couldn't have been more helpful - just a really enjoyable stay. The room was absolutely fine, bed was comfy and the shower was good. I'd definitely stay here again. "

"We had a lovely stay at Gails. I received a phonecall earlier in the day from Lucy to say that the boiler was not working and they were unable to get anyone to fix it so they would be refunding us half of the cost back which was very nice of them as this was not their fault and these things happen. Checking in was easy, parking was fine, the room was lovely, comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was included and was very nice. "Staff were amazing, using a real human approach to their job. Youve got a a great team that work together and understand that their customers are people too. We had some awesome chats with lewis in particular during our short stay and can see hes destined for big things in his life! "As I find stairs difficult with luggage, and no lift, staff were helpful and changed my room from 1st floor to ground. Staff were pleasant but bar service could be improved. The waiter was covering the kitchen and bar. He walked past me twice, while I stood at the bar, but I still had to open the door to the kitchen, and call, I had to ask for ice and lemon, but didn't get the lemon, it didn't seem available. Just small things really but could be improved. "

"No es un cinco estrellas real. Tuve problemas con la cerradura, la puerta no cerraba. Me pasó el primer día de los 5 que iba a estar. No consiguieron arreglarlo, todos los días volvía a no cerrar y tenía que volver a pedir que lo arreglaran. Sonaba un zumbido de algún motor en la habitación. Además me cobraron dos veces la estancia por error, tardaron más de dos meses en devolverme el segundo pago, y la primera mañana me dijeron que no tenía el desayuno incluido cuando me habían dicho que sí. Pedí mirarlo y chequearlo, y ellos, sin hablarlo, me lo cobraron. Tras hablarlo me dicen que es un error y que me lo van a devolver, cuando salgo el Quinto día, siguen sin habérmelo devuelto. No ir…"

"En general nos pareció muy limpio y el personal muy amable. La ubicación es perfecta por céntrica y porque esta a la mano de los principales medios de transporte. Pensamos que es necesario algún espacio para colocar la maleta dentro de la habitación, considerando que se trata de habitaciones para 3 ó 4 personas. La cama muy cómoda, la regadera con buena presión de agua y el agua caliente salío rápido (la indicación de caliente-rojo / fría-azul está al revés). "
