"Superb pub and rooms steeped in local history - Robert Plant started his career here playing blues guitar aged 15 in the upstairs blues club (sadly not there anymore but the history is palpable). The pub is a treasure trove of history, and so well preserved, from the original staircases and ceramic tiling on the walls, to the original bar. My room was just sheer excellence. "Plenty of parking, the room was clean and the welcome friendly.The downside was the restaurant was closed when arrived so the alternative was to go out again. We didn't bother, it might have been better to have had some notice of this and we could made other arrangements it didn't spoil matters."

"Joules and her Son were absolutely wonderful hosts. We couldn’t have been made to feel any more welcome and we had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast was outstanding - lots of choice and super fresh and tasty. Joules’ baking was a great surprise treat, a lovely touch in our room on arrival and the Brownies later in our stay were out of this world! Our room was spotless, very comfy bed, lovely armchairs with the spectacular view over Ironbridge and the valley....
