Lock box & check out info

Getting into the home was a bit challenging. The lock box didn't work well and was had to find/identify. Also, I'd recommend leaving written instructions with what to do with garbage, how to leave the home, etc. Nothing there and wasn't clear at all.

We loved everything about this property. We stayed a couple years ago and the updates are amazing! I can't express enough what a perfect place this is to stay and vacation. The fishing was great as well! We can't wait to come back!! P.S. The neighbors are wonderful and very friendly.

Family get together

We met family from out of state for a quick couple of nights. We had all age ranges and our furry friends. The stay was wonderful. We had all the kitchen accessories we needed and tons of room to spread out. Most importantly though, the beds were comfy! Thank you!

Northwoods Escape

The house was beautiful and there was so much room for us to spread out! We did have a little bit of trouble with the weather (ice storm knocked out the electricity), but the owner stopped by and offered to set up a generator for us, which was amazing! The power did come back on pretty quickly so he didn't need to do that. Our one complaint was that we needed to stay an extra night due to the weather, but the people at vacasa were originally going to charge us all of the fees again and a higher night rate than we paid for the other nights. It was a bit of a struggle to get them to understand we were staying for safety reasons (the roads were terrible)

Great location with room to spread out.

We stayed her with my parents to do some ice fishing. Great location and a huge cabin to spread out. Would be super fun in summer to hang out on porches and play in the water! Kitchen was lacking some pots/pans/drinking glasses. We managed with 4 people but if you have a big crew you may need to bring some bigger pans and pots if you plan to cook.Place was clean and had nice updated bathrooms. Clean sheets and comfy beds. There was a very stong air freshener smell in basement and upstairs smelled a little like cigarette smoke even though no smoking allowed.Note there is no window/emergency exit in basement room with the 4 beds.

Loved our stay here!!

Us and a group of friends stayed here for a long weekend. We couldn’t have had a better time. The house was great for accommodating our group, the lake was beautiful, and the outdoor was great for hanging and having a fire. We will definitely be staying here again!

Great get away on the lake.

Was a sight to behold as we rounded the last corner on the driveway. Great house great location and a great fishing lake. We rented a pontoon from Lakeside Marina and had lots of fun crusing and fishong. Everyone who was fishing caught some of thier biggest fish ever and lots of them . We will be back.

Home

The cleaning was not 100%. Front porch should have been swept, cob webs/spiders in some of the rooms. No gas provided for the gas grill. Paddle boat was partially filled with water. Dumpster was full and never emptied.

Powerless

We spent a whole day without power and water due to the property owner's error. Had to carry water from the nearby stream for the toilets. Quite some time and very stressful!

Family Vacation

If you are looking for a quiet retreat away from the city, this is a good place for it. The inside of the home is beautiful. ALOT of bugs so be prepared. Fishing was great and the pier was beautiful. Can't really swim as it is not cleared in the water to do so. If you need internet service, there is none as described. You will need to have a good hot spot on your phone if you need to use the internet. A few hiccups upon arrival but Brian, Adam, Dave, and Tiffany were great and did everything possible to help make our family vacation pleasant & enjoyable. Thank you to everyone who helped us.

Beautiful place

The place is really nice. There are few things that need improvement. The listing said “internet”. We could not get connected. The listing said “fully stocked kitchen”. That needs improvement. Also we could not find the remote for the tv. Other than that, it was awesome😀

Spacious home

Beutiful house with beautiful views on the lake! We really enjoyed our stay there. It is secluded yet easy to find. I believe it is a perfect vacation home no matter what season you decide to go there. However, I have to mention 2 things: 1. Sheets on the beds in the basement area were not washed/changed. 2. This is definitely not two king one queen bed house. It is two queen one king. We got a small refund for those two things, costumer service and property menager were great. Overall, beautiful vacation home!

Great Peaceful Stay!

Property was perfect for the four adults on our trip. Very clean. Great space for my aunt and uncle to stop by. Never slept better in the quiet and dark that is the north woods!

CLEAN! LOCATION!

My husband and I rented this cottage for a long, relaxing weekend & it did not disappoint. We arrived late in the evening and were greeted with lights on and calm music playing on the TV. My pet peeves with most rentals, were not an issue here :) Privacy, solid internet, great appliances (gas range, whirlpool W/D), plenty of hooks throughout the cottage (to hang towels, hats, coats, leashes), plenty of nice quality towels. It is a lovely little lake with fabulous sunsets. We plan to go back next year for a longer stay with extended family.

October getaway

We had an awesome stay during early October. Leaves were very pretty and the fishing was pretty good too. The house was everything we hoped for, clean and well-equipped. Very comfortable.
