"Looks exactly like the pictures. We booked one of the suites which was beautiful however the bed was quite hard. When our room was cleaned, it wasn’t hoovered and toiletries weren’t refilled, which I would expect from a place like this. But overall, it was a beautiful stay, the spa was nice "

"The room was clean and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was good, not a huge selection but enough choice to accommodate most people. The Oakland is in a very convenient location. Saturday night they have a live band which can be noisy if you want the windows open. The bar was busy and the atmosphere friendly the band when we stayed was very good. The joining walls in room are thin, we could here the tv and hairdryer from next door. "

"From the time we arrived until we left we had the very best of times.
Clean room, great staff, Kieran, Johnny and Summer were awesome. And overall the food was absolutely delicious.. from breakfast through to and including the Sunday toast with delicious cauliflower cheese!! Highly recommended "

"Arrived 30 mins before check in and was taken straight to our room. The lady that showed us to our room was lovely, and was very kind when my toddler chatted away to her.
Room was clean and looked lovely. I liked that you could park right outside your room which was easy to unload the car. The view from the patio was endless countryside and at night it was rural enough that there was no light pollution and could see the stars.
Room was well stocked with all types of teas and coffees. Shampoo...

"Room was nice but in need of update, bed base was ripped and cushions were stale and in need of a wash.
It was good to have a fully stocked fridge
Bathroom was lovely and a good size.
Breakfast was good but disappointing to have to pay for fresh coffee. The coffee in the table flasks was not the best.
Overall hotel is nice and I have stayed here many times but could do with a few tweaks here and there."
