Un precioso apartamento, perfectamente equipado, en pleno centro de Toledo , a unos pasos de la Catedral y de la plaza Zocodover. Muy luminoso ,con todo lo necesario para sentirse como en casa. Muchas gracias Mercedes, por permitir que nuestra perrita Mika, disfrutará las vacaciones a nuestro lado!

Perfect location/Nice Large Flat

Emilia’s place was perfect for a family outing to Toledo. Location couldn’t be better; on a quiet side street but mere steps from Toledo’s main monuments. The rooftop terrace was simply superb to watch the sunset behind the cathedral and the lights of the city and monuments. Very comfortable. Only one suggestion: the kitchen needs a decent set of knives (chef, bread, etc.)

30th Anniversary Trip to Spain

Upon arrival, you will have to lug your bags uphill and up three flights of stairs to the apartment. This is the only reason we gave 4 stars for “Check-in Process” (we were amply warned of this in the description of the apartment, but it was still quite a shock). Our hostess was a delight. The space is incredible with amazing panoramic views of the city from the windows and, especially, the rooftop terrace. The apartment’s location is excellent — close to the supermarket, restaurants and near major sights. We didn’t want to leave and were pleasantly surprised that leaving the apartment and going downhill (even with our bloated luggage) was much easier than it was upon our arrival. Big shout-out to our hostess, Meli, who saved us when we got accidentally locked-out on the terrace and for everything else. Of all the VRBO properties we’ve ever stayed at, this is one of our favorites.

We enjoyed the view of the Cathedral. The house was clean with the basics. We felt it was walking distance to many sites. The taxi driver had a hard time with finding the place and though Emelia was helpful, the language barrier was frustrating with getting help to find the place. The host was responsive with questions.

Wonderful Place to See Toledo

We had a really great experience here. The location is fantastic. The apartment is on the 3rd level, so be prepared to walk up and down. Being an old building. Be prepared for different levels inside and differently-sized rooms, but all very comfortable. There was excellent communication with management and many helpful messages when needed. We found the kitchen provide what we needed, and we were just a short walk to the market. We didn’t have a car, and it was nice to not worry about negotiating Toledo’s narrow, winding streets.

Stunning Balcony View

Very comfortable apartment with a cozy rooftop balcony having a stunning 300 degree view over the roof tops of Toledo and its cathedral. The sun sets behind the cathedral. Mercedes, the administrator, is very Spanish, and very helpful. You will need to carry your suitcases up two flights of stairs.

Tremendous Terrace Views

This cozy, uniquely laid out flat is surprisingly spacious, and has the feel of an Old World garret. The suite apartment wraps around a central courtyard, and boasts magnificent views from several of the rooms. The private terrace, which one reaches by what must be called a hatch, offers the best view of the cathedral. The roofs tops and old town are also in full view from this vantage point. The two bathrooms are small but are fully renovated and functional. Having a washer and dryer is a real perk especially for a rental in the old town area. There is no elevator so your will carry your luggage up one flight of stairs. Our host Mercedes was very helpful and insisted on carrying some of the luggage herself. A parking garage nearby is available at a discounted rate, thanks to Mercedes, who seems to know everyone. The garage is close enough and downhill by foot, but not by car. Mercedes arranged for a taxi to meet us near the apartment so which we would not have to lug our bags up the footpath. We spent a month in Europe so our bags were large and heavier than most! This apartment is ideally located near the most important sites as well as being close to great restaurants and shopping. In the narrow streets between the tall old buildings, GPSs are not much help, but a little experience and memorizing of landmarks will get you through the maze. You will pass plenty of people on organized walking tours of this historic scenic part of the old town it is the ideal spot to experience the magic of Toledo.

Great property

Our family of 4 had a very nice 3 night stay in this lovely apartment. My teenage daughter said it was her favorite of our 4 stops in Spain! The master bedroom suite is at one end of the hall and two of the bedrooms plus the second bathroom are at the other. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare full meals, and there is a grocery store just around the corner. There are a ton of neat restaurants to try in the town, but it was nice to have the option to cook in. The rooftop terrace is small, but has a spectacular view of the cathedral. We enjoyed breakfast and evening drinks up there. Having a washer AND dryer in the unit was great. The air conditioning worked well and was SO nice to come back to after a long day of walking and sightseeing in the August heat. As another reviewer pointed out, water pressure is not great and the hot water was a bit temperamental, we got by just fine. The location is very close to the cathedral and pretty convenient to most other sights, many restaurants and shops. The apartment is up one flight of stairs (there is no lift). In addition, there are steps and a short but steep cobble stone walk from the parking garage. It was not an issue for us, but I think worth mentioning. You'll want comfortable walking shoes for getting around Toledo anyway! Mercedes met us at check in and provided lots of good information about the area. Communication was good throughout the reservation and arrival process.

Nice Apartment, Wonderful View

We loved staying here for three days. Mercedes was great to deal with-- very nice and responded very quickly to questions. Discounted parking nearby at the Alcazar Parking garage. The apartment was large, clean, simple, and comfortable. The roof patio is small but has an incredible view of the cathedral. We loved sitting outside, even in the cold January air. Water pressure was not great, so don't expect too much from the showers, but it was enough to do the job. It would be difficult to beat the location-- an easy ten minutes on foot anyplace in central Toledo. Nice supermarket and market stalls just a minute away.

Great place, great location

Our family of five stayed here for a week in late June, and it was delightful. Very comfortable, with ample room for everyone. Great views, especially from the rooftop terrace (even in the heat of summer, we were able to enjoy it at night and in the mornings). Being right in the middle of the old town made it easy to see the sights, along with easy access to all the shops and restaurants. The air conditioning and all the appliances worked just fine. We would definitely choose to stay here again if (when?) we return to Toledo.

I left a little piece of my heart here!

My family and I stayed in this incredible apartment for a month and had the most amazing time. It was so comfortable and perfectly furnished, within three days I felt like this was my home. It was just the right size, and had all the essentials in it. Mercedes was an incredible hostess. She explained all the things to do and see, patiently marking out important spots on a map. She was methodical about keeping the apartment clean for us, and providing clean sheets and towels. When we had some issues with the internet, she promptly showed up to take care of it. The view from the roof of the cathedral is breathtaking--something that only a few people who come to Toledo get to experience. The apartment is in the ideal location, between the cathedral and Alcazar, and the neighborhood is quiet and safe. I can't say enough good things about our experience here and I hope to be able to go back "home" there again.

Beautiful and very centrally located apartment.

We had a wonderful stay in the apartment, despite the intense heat of Toledo in August. The three double bedrooms were air-conditioned, and a problem with one of the AC units was rectified immediately by the lovely Mercedes, who was always available and happy to help or advise. The kitchen equipment was a little basic, but with so many fantastic bars and restaurants on the doorstep this was not a problem for us. Considering the central location, the apartment was surprisingly quiet. The roof top terrace was small and too hot to use during the day, but amazing for morning and night time views of the cathedral. Would definitely book again.

Mercedes was very welcoming and helpful during our stay in Toledo. The apartment is better than advertised in the pictures and description along with being very clean.
