"This apartment is in such a good location! Very clean, quiet, comfortable mattress, shower with good heat and water pressure, nice washing machine, nice kitchen. The two queen beds are squeezed in one room, so you have to climb over one mattress to get to the other. There was only two of us on this trip, so we did fine. Very close to the train station. "The property was exactly what we needed for our two week stay in Japan! We were left alone and weren’t bothered. There is a washer and dryer in the apartment however we found it didn’t dry our clothes very well. However there is within walking distance a laundry mat that was super easy to use and get to. Would recommend staying here for anyone wanting a cheaper stay and a little less touristy to get emerged into Japan. "

"Shimokita Stay has been the best VRBO experience I have had in many trips to Tokyo. The cozy apartment is nicely designed and well-equipped; we didn't have to buy anything like we normally do. It's fairly roomy by Tokyo standards, with more closet space than we normally find, and has a lovely, private patio. The host, Mari, is friendly and very responsive.
