The owners are very friendly, attentive, and quick to communicate. The hotel itself is off a Main Street and near the bus station and train station. It’s a few minutes by taxi to Sunshine City, which has amazing food and shopping. The hotel is quite spacious with three bedrooms. We had a party of 8 that fit quite nicely. One room has two Western beds, while the other two rooms have traditional Japanese beds. There’s a dining room, full kitchenette, futon (that also can double as a bed), two showers, a bathroom on each level, tv, free wi-fi, and a washer & dryer. It’s literally everything you could need! There’s also an e-scooter rental next to the property. A short walk and there are many restaurants (ramen, udon, Tex-Mex steakhouse), and a 7-11. Walk a little further and there’s more shopping, including two boba tea places (both good), many restaurants, and a grocery store. Keep walking and you’ll run into a really nice area with bustling city life. Outside of sightseeing and specific neighborhoods for shopping, a 7-17 minute walk could get me absolutely everything my family and I needed (medicine, water, meals, groceries, coffee, etc.). Worth noting: the water pressure in the shower heads are wonderfully strong. No issues with water pressure when two folks are using both showers and running the washer. Overall: AI have included some photos of interesting places within a few minutes walking distance, & sushi from a local grocery stores for under 1,000 JPY.
