You will lose cell seevice on the gorgeous Gunflint Trail, so make sure you have saved your check in instructions beforehand. Note that many lodges on the trail have restaurants, but not this one, so bring food with you before you arrive. "Excellent location for exploring, restaurants and hiking. Great host communication. Very clean space, quality bedding with comfortable bed and nice outdoor view. Kitchen is small with an electric hotplate in addition to the microwave and everything you need is provided. Would stay again."

"Absolutely perfect! The trails running through the property were beautiful and well cared for. The home is quaint, cute, and clean with a covered parking option. They had water in bowls waiting for our pups when we got there. Super easy drive to downtown Grand Marais and to Lutsen. 10/10!"

"The house was great and very clean and we loved that it was only a short drive from Grand Marais. The only issues we would mention is that the yard around the gazebo and deck was very overgrown. It would have also been nice to have some rudimentary instructions for the arcade game, luckily the teenager was able to figure it out. Neither of those issues really affected our overall enjoyment of the property however, and did not affect our rating."

"Hibernation House, is a spacious and well stocked 5 bedroom townhome. The unit could be 3 separate units. Which provided some confusion at arrival. We rented it as a 5 bedroom unit. Which meant we had 3 entry doors and 3 parking spots right in front. The on site pictures are very true to the layout and amenities, much appreciated! A tip for those that enjoy the early morning sun, select the 1st floor master or the top floor bedroom with the 3 beds. Peter was super helpful and responsive. He...
