Wir sind als Familie nach Tofino gereist und haben uns in der sehr urigen Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Sonnenuntergänge auf der Terrasse sind einmalig, die Betreiber sehr freundlich und die Anreise problemlos.

Off grid in Tofino but a very short hop ashore to town! Stunning sunsets from the deck. Really comfortable bed, very relaxing overall.

One of the most wonderful and unique experiences I've ever had! Easy to communicate our boat ride back and forth from the houseboat to shore and the hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly.

A huge thank you to the wonderful hosts and team at Strawberry island for an amazing and unique two nights in tofino. The houseboat was so charming and homey, the pet friendly location made bringing along our dog so easy, and the porthole in the living room floor opportunity to crab from our doorstep was unforgettable.

It was an incredible experience to stay on the water with unbelievable views! The cabin’s cosy feel was a perfect way to end our day of exploring tofino. The 4 min boat ride to and from the main land was a wonder on it’s own, with the most spectacular landscape.

We had the best time! Loved the experience of being right on the water watching whales and sea otters and loons. Everything we needed we had. Pearl was so accommodating getting us back and forth to town by boat.

We had a great weekend there. It was quiet and cozy. Great gas fireplace and view. We got a trip to and from town every day. We'll be going back.

Great location in the harbour. We enjoyed watching the fishing boats and the float planes and sitting on the dock observing the marine life and sunsets. The property is really one big room. We were three adults and it suited us fine. I am not sure that it is as suitable for young children.Our host Pearl was great, ready to transport us when asked.

We recommend this stay to anyone visiting Tofino. It’s such a cozy experience. We’ve stayed twice and brought our dogs, who LOVE the boat ride to the dock. We’ll be back again for sure!

The boat is cozy and thoughtfully designed, and the beds are very comfortable\. The sunset views are beautiful and definitely one of the highlights of the stay\.However, the accommodation listing is misleading in a few important ways\. It mentions a complimentary water taxi service, but it does not clearly state that only one trip per day is included\. Any additional trip costs 50 CAD, which came as an unpleasant surprise\. The listing also fails to mention that there is no WifiIn addition, the cooking facilities are very limited and poorly equipped, making it difficult to prepare meals

Cozy cabin, comfy bed, right on the water- the window down to the ocean is awesome for watching critters swimming around. Organizing rides to/from the houseboat was easy and efficient. Host was friendly and ensured I had everything need to be comfortable. Perfect spot to get away!

Recommend! Everything was exactly as stated and shown. Property was very clean, linens/towels were good quality bed was very comfortable.The property manager was so helpful and accommodating. Many opportunities for extra activities through the property manager.
