The beach house and location doesn’t get any better! You feel very safe in this community. Cerritos beach is great for kids and safest place to swim and surf in the area. Thank you for a great family vacation!

Amazing view and literally right on the beach! Walk out the back gate and onto the beach. The beds were comfortable, the linens and towels soft. We had a great time. Our only regret was that we didn’t go out and explore the dirt roads in the area. Lots of little hidden restaurants, hotels etc. with old Mexico style. We didn’t want to leave this home.

Family beach trip

We enjoyed the beach time and was super fun and relaxing. Just make sure to rent a car if staying for a few days and plan to go into town multiple times. The $20 each per trip add up with local taxis.

This house is right on the beach-you can’t beat the location. We enjoyed surfing and beach walks and visiting all of the local restaurants. One of our best vacations ever!

Perfect location, home and experience

This home is located right on Cerritos beach, a few steps from the beach and ocean. We were able to boogie board, build sand castles and lounge on the beach. We had two families with children and the home fit perfectly, with two bedrooms and a pull out sleeper. We have traveled to Cerritos over the years and talked about staying on the beach, and this was exactly what we were looking for. The caretaker offered amazing service- answered our questions, offered advice and even arranged transportation to the airport for a friend. Todo santos is a short drive away where we were able to buy groceries and have dinner at a number of great restaurants. Highly reccomend!

Casa beautiful

The pictures cannot describe the beauty this house provides. We watched whales right from the house and boogie boarded endlessly. The nights were filled with beach fires and so many stars. Only complaint was that we didn’t stay longer!!

Fabulous location

Rental was right on the beach, just down a little bit from one of the only swimming locations on the peninsula. The home was so nice and to hear the surf all day was one of the most relaxing vacations our family had. Our kids loved just going out the door and playing in the sand or wading in the ocean. We could walk to a couple restaurants or drive down the road to others. We hope to return again.

We loved our stay at Playa Los Cerritos! The house was beautiful and so functional and so comfortable. The beds were so comfortable! the open living room onto the patio was so wonderful! Tony , the caretake , attended our every need very promptly. We hope we can return someday.

Still a great house and location

We had a terrific experience with the house, weather and discovered good fun places to eat and play. You need a car with good suspension for the road and surrounding area. They closed one beach bar / restaurant and opened another closer the house. Take the long way everywhere and trust everything is a little safer and better than your first impression. Eat at Herbabuena 4 miles away. Plan to relax and sleep better than you have in years! Thank you LeeAnn and Tony

WOW!! Perfect location. Clean. Plenty of space.

This property was everything I was hoping for and more. The location is perfect. Surfing, food, and drinks are all walking distance. Perfect sunset every evening which led to drinks and great conversations setting around the fire pit. The house is clean and spacious. The beds are comfortable. LeeAnn was quick to respond to any questions or needs we had. Great service. A short drive north to Todos Santos is great food and shopping. A must see beach is Las Palmas. My family and I will be back soon.

Perfect location!!!

We loved our stay at Playa Los Cerritos Beachfront home and will definitely return. Unparalleled access to Cerritos Beach, and this house provides privacy that other homes do not. Beds were comfy and linens crisp and white. Panaromic views of the bay from the family room.

A great spot for a fun and active vacation!

This home is beautiful and comfortable and in a fabulous location. Everything is as described, only better. Caretaker Tony was always available, and he arranged for a wonderful meal prepared for us and some friends who were also in the area - the best meal of the vacation, complete with beach bonfire. We did hiking, mountain biking, surfing, shopping, and just hanging on the beach. We hope to come back!

Our favorite getaway

I almost hate to review this home, because I wish it could be our own little secret getaway. Cerritos Beach is amazing and this home is a perfect location to enjoy your beach vacation. Great location for surf, beach, sand and fun. Close to amazing food in Todos Santos, Pescadero and even local Cerritos. We have been coming here for years, and every year appreciate and love it more. Enjoy breakfast in Todos Santos, especially Café Felix and La Esquina. or Dinner at Free Souls, Art and Beer, Hierbabuena, or a local taco shop on the side of the highway. Laying in the hammock watching the sunset is a favorite or walking along the beach. This is by far the best place to stay on Cerritos Beach. Thank you LeeAnn for having us stay in your home!

Outstanding

The Casa de Playa Los Cerritos was the perfect spot for our vacation. The house is really well thought out. Nothing fancy, but clean, beds were super comfy, plenty of space, washer and dryer a huge bonus, and the slider that opens up to the beach is really cool. Kitchen was clean and well stocked. The patio on the beach is so nice, the hammocks, tables and fire-pit all perfect. Really nice. Tony the caretaker was awesome. Our first night there the refrigerator broke and I notified Tony first thing in the morning, he came over to try and fix it and within a half hour said he had spoken to the owner and that he would have a new fridge in by the end of the day. Well not four hours later, the old one was gone and new one was installed. In the meantime, he went and brought a cooler and bags of ice to keep our food and beverages cold. We also got to know him a bit better and found out he is the bartender at a restaurant called Hierbabuena. HIGHLY recommend. We went there twice and it was unbelievable. Food in general was all amazing. Free Souls, Miguels, an a wine and tapas place in Todos Santos - across from bank next to Hotel California. All of them we highly recommend. Oh and if you want an awesome smoothie and peppermint peanut butter bliss balls, head over to PuraVIda. Super cool market that sells all things healthy! The Mexican people in this area are some of the nicest, hardest working people we have ever encountered. And all the ex-pats were very nice as well. My only con I would say is I wish there was recycling and less noticeable trash. Not in the house but the area in general. In and around the "nicer" boutique" properties there is no sign but everywhere else there is so much plastic used and no recycling! It isn't the fault of any one person, it's probably more of a cultural thing but it made me realize even more how important it is so we can keep places like this clean so it can be enjoyed for a long time. It was a fabulous week!
