My husband and I had a nice Autumn week in the Poconos. The house was clean and tidy. Omkar was polite and responsive to any question we had. The house has a nice view of the sunrise each day. And we were lucky to have daily visits from the local deer. The neighborhood is a mix of rentals and permanent homes. Everyone we met was friendly. The next-door neighbor (on the north side of Omkar’s house) does not take care of their yard and their home is in a state of disrepair. The back yard is overgrown and filled with discarded toys, bikes, trampoline, etc and their roof has a hole in it. I’m surprised the neighborhood association has not addressed it.

Cozy house. Kitchen cabinets can use an update. Other wise you can’t beat the lakefront spots. We all enjoyed.

We stayed for a week with the kids , grandkids and our dog . We made use of the kayak , canoes and boat everyday . We caught lots of fish . The house is not far from the pool and lakeside cafe . The kids liked that a lot too . It was only a 20 minute ride to great wolf lodge . The house is older but smelled clean . Only 2 actual bedrooms but the loft is big and spacious for all the kids . You can sleep a lot if people in this house with multiple futons also. Kitchen is fully stocked for cooking . Could use some upgrades but we will book this house again .

Our family (including our 2 pups) had a wonderful time. The location was great and the water access from the house was just what we were looking for. There was plenty of room and everything was comfortable. We didn't check out any of the amenities as the lake out the back door was all we wanted & needed :-) My only suggestion would be for the room off the livingroom (i believe its labeled the Florida room) to have curtains on the inside for privacy - like in our case it was being used as a bedroom. The owner was wonderful with communicating. I had a couple of questions and he was very quick to respond & follow up. We would definitely like to go back!

I stayed here last weekend with my husband, our dog, and some friends. The 3 story house was clean and had everything that we needed. The main floor has a wrap around deck which was very nice for our dog. We enjoyed nights around the fire and took the boats and kayak out for a ride. The owner was very nice and quick to respond to all my questions, and even had a truckload of firewood dropped off for us to use! The only con was that the house is in a community which we weren't aware of, so we had to check in at the main office and get passes before we went in. The house isn't as private as we hoped for either but these things did not take away from our vacation and we still had a great time.

This has been the nicest vacation my family has ever been on so far. we try to rent on VRBO every year if we can and this one took the cake. swimming, boating, and fishing, we didn't have to go anywhere to do anything else. There are a couple of concerns that I didn't mention to the owner as we didn't nitic the problem till our last day. a couple of the posts on the back deck railing as well as some on the loft railing are not narrow enough and pose a danger for babies being able to fit through. thankfully, my 1-year-old was on the back deck with supervision when he easily stuck his head through one of the slots. so if you are bringing any little ones, please be careful. I do hope that Omkar has someone fix this issue as this is a great place for families. My only real disappointment was that the pictures shown on VRBO were really old and showed a much bigger sandy beach and nicer dock. the place is still great and worth every penny and I would have rented it even with updated pictures.

House was good size— there was 9 in our group and a dog. Plenty of room for all. Fishing was great and we loved the lake. Overall house needs a little TLC but we would stay here again.

Property description was as described at this spacious home in a Gated Community. It is on the older side but in decent condition. I stayed at this rental with 4 teens. The property is teen friendly. I used the kyack provided and rented paddle boards for the teens. The property also has a few boats. There was a good range of life jacket sizes provided. The lake is shallow for a ways out. We did not fish, there were fish around the dock, and the neighbors were catching fish. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pans. There were plenty of towels provided. The teens enjoyed the late nights in the jacuzzi tub , Netflix, and closing themeslves in the sunroom to play loud music. Neighbors are close by and there is some shrubbery in between. It is not far from Camel Beach Water Park and the Shopping outlets. I would stay here again.

This was our second time staying at this house. This year Omkar is the new host/owner. The house is very clean and well maintained. He responded quickly to questions and was very helpful. The lake is beautiful and a quiet retreat. Deer wander through the yard, great fishing and a lovely lake to paddle around! We can’t wait to see what changes and updates are done to the house with new ownership!

Unfortunately this property was pretty run down and needed a lot of repairs and maintenance and did not match the pictures online. The lake was pretty but unsafe to get to because yard was uncared for, debris , rocks, broken chairs. We found out after arriving that we had to supply our own propane and firewood. We did bring our own air mattress and sheets so we had a clean place to sleep. Being that it was our 30 wedding anniversary weekend it was a special celebration so we had to make the best of it. But we would never stay here again .

This was our first time renting a house on a lake and it was the best vacation we've had in many years. The house is amazing. You can look out onto the lake from any room in the house. Such a beautiful site! The deck was really great. My dog could walk around from back to front since it was all enclosed. We spent nites around the fire pit which was so much fun. We all had a great time with the row boat that was supplied. There were also 2 canoes and a kayak but we didn't use them as we really enjoyed the row boat. The dock was great and we spent our days fishing from it or just enjoyed the view. The only negative thing that happened was all 3 of the bbq gas tanks were empty and when we contacted the host about it he said we needed to fill them which was contrary to what the write up of the house said when booking. So i would suggest checking that when you first arrive. But all in all i highly recommend this house and would definitely stay there again. The host was also very responsive anytime i contacted him. This was truly a wonderful vacation!

We have stayed twice at this property under different owners. The lakefront location and large outside deck are our favorite features. Having linens included greatly simplified our packing and convenience. Thank you for another wonderful vacation full of lasting memories.

Owner was very responsive and flexible arranging for us to stay an extra day, and the house was very spacious, cozy and comfortable. We had no luck fishing on the lake, even after insisting a lot, and overall the property could use some TLC inside and out.
