The house is very clean and the decor is modern and upscale. Everything is provided - towels, sheets, and we had enough paper products to get our group of 8 through the weekend. The geo dome is very cool and there are lots of areas to sit and enjoy the outdoors. The hot tub was clean and well maintained. You get what you pay for and this property is truly an above and beyond experience!

We had a fantastic family getaway at this beautiful home. Even though we couldn't enjoy much of the outdoor amenities due to the time of year, we still had a great time just enjoying the house and all the fun things to do inside. We'll definitely be back.

The house was phenomenal and the owners were very responsive. We stayed here with 6 adults and 5 kids and we could have easily added more people comfortably. With the games, theater and space on the first floor we hardly ever saw the kids. We couldn't leave the house because of the weather but we didn't even notice. We'd book this again in a heartbeat.

When I first booked at the place, we already really liked what it has to offer. When we got there, the GeoDome was added. The original picture didn't show this. As in, this is a major surprise to get an upgrade for our enjoyment.The GeoDome keeps warm when the temperature outside was close to 30s during one windy day. All from sunlight.The house feels spacious and welcoming. There are even toys for the tods! The theater room is very cozy. The kitchen and dining room has plenty of sunlight coming through all day.We enjoyed our stay very much!PS: This comment was not solicited. We wholeheartedly agree that this place deserves 10/10

The kitchen had everything we needed! The space in the main living room and downstairs game area was fantastic. The whole experience was relaxing and comfortable for us. The host was extremely responsive to any questions or questions. Recommend this property to all!!

Perfect house for a girls getaway weekend! We used everything: indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit (plenty of wood provided for both), kayaks, hot tub, AMAZING geodome, video games, ping pong, movie theater! Beds were comfortable, main living space was open and full of bright light. And George was perhaps the most responsive host I have ever stayed with, responded to texts immediately and when we had one minor issue he sent someone to the house right away who was super helpful and sweet.

Wonderful Family Vacation at an Excellent Lake House

My family has been doing an annual lake house vacation for the past eight years, and this is our favorite house to date. The weather did not cooperate the first few days, but the house offers so much to keep you occupied indoors that we still had a great time -- movie theatre, two arcades, ping pong table, etc. The lake is a great size for kayaking, and the views of the lake from the house are fantastic. Everything is exactly as advertised, and the hosts are extremely responsive throughout the entire trip to make sure you have a great vacation.

Beautiful property with an awesome view!

We had the pleasure of staying at Doc’s Lake Oasis for my birthday weekend. George and Sarah went above and beyond with their hospitality, responding promptly to any questions and even sending over a special treat which we greatly appreciated. The house was beautiful and spacious. My family and I enjoyed cooking and being able to all eat together while enjoying many laughs around the large dining room table. It was heartwarming to see everyone having such a good time and making memories together they’ll always remember. We had an amazing weekend visit and look forward to visiting again, possibly in the warmer weather so we can enjoy the lake,

You Don't Even Need A Toothbrush!

This house was amazing, clean and very functional. My wife and I rented it for Thanksgiving for our extended family for a total of 10 adults/children, and we loved it! After I made the reservation, the owner reached out to me, answered my questions and was available to me throughout my entire stay. The house is very spacious, beautifully decorated, and the owners have thought about every last detail to make their guests comfortable….from Kayaks to phone chargers, and everything in between, this house has everything needed for a great getaway. The movie room was amazing, the game room was great for all ages, and the hot tub was perfect as we sat and watched the lake and beautiful sunsets (loved the coffee bar too, especially the French Press with fresh coffee beans and a grinder). This house is definitely the place to rent if you’re looking for a great get-away with family and friends. Kudos to the owners for making it so perfect!

Doc’s Lake Oasis stay

My family and I went out to Doc’s Lake Oasis over the 4th of July. This house has everything you could ask for and more. When the weather was beautiful, we were out on the lake enjoying the beautiful scenery and peaceful water, the few storms we unfortunately got did not put a damper on our vacation whatsoever. The house was clearly just refinished to perfection, it gave us inspiration for our own home! We cooked every meal and did not go to one restaurant while we were there, it was like being at home. The beds are super comfortable, the living room was cozy and intimate, and the basement was full of toys, games, and a movie theatre! The hot tub at the end of the day was icing on the cake. There is fire pit AND a pizza oven outside to do enjoy. Another perk was the friendly wildlife; the deer fed right out of my son’s hand! I could go on and on about Doc’s Lake Oasis. Do yourself a favor and book this place, you will not be disappointed and will want to book again. Thanks for opening your home to us!

Family vacation Beautiful lakefront property

We had a great time!The house was lovely! -very clean!Loved the two tier deck- getting up in the morning and having coffee and looking out over the lake was a beautiful view! The kids loved the movie theater room, and the hot tub! I was able to communicate with the owner if needed and he always got back to me.

Relaxing Luxury Vacation

The property was even better than the pictures! We were there over the insane heat wave and the breeze coming off the lake and wonderfully shaded yard kept us cool outside. The AC kept us cool inside and the house had everything we could possibly want. George and Sarah were wonderful hosts and made communication so easy! Checkin was seamless and the whole trip was wonderful. The kids loved all the games. Everyone loved all the boats. Can’t recommend enough! Already trying to get a group together to come back again.

Spring Break Weekend Get Away

We were excited to find this property on VRBO for a quick weekend get away and Easter brunch with our family. The house was beautifully designed and thoughtfully stocked with items one might need while away. It was clear they considered their guests in every decision...bathtobes in the closets, toiletries under the sinks, a well stocked kitchen, soft, clean throw blankets everywhere, even a leash and dog towels for our pets. There were so many clever gaming stations for guests of all ages to enjoy both as well as ping pong, foozeball and more. Since the weather was not ideal for spending time on the lake, we took advantage of both fireplaces, the hot tub and the huge movie theater where we watched plenty of March Madness games. George and Sarah were quick to respond to the one or two questions we had while we were there. Our family would definitely book this house again, hopefully on a sunnier weekend. Thanks for providing such an enjoyable experience!
