Location was quaint and check in very easy. Host was communicative. However, ACs were finnicky. Kitchen and living room subject to arctic blasts while rooms overheated and suddenly turn off. Living room TV remote was non-functioning even with batteries replaced. Outside lights over the fire pit were broken. But worst of all, there was also a water leak coming from the ceiling on our second night, perhaps to no fault of the host, but still took from the experience. Would not recommend unless there were some serious renovations/upkeep to the property.

Had a good stay! Only one problem with the home, none of the heaters had refrigerant so we had to buy our own heaters to stay warm. Everything else was great. Would stay here again for sure.

Overall I had a great experience at this property. I also really enjoyed seeing wildlife walking through the property early in the morning. The only thing that could have made the entire experience a lot better was maybe not showing up to the house with garbage all over the lawn but that might have just happened because wildlife probably knocked over the garbage can.

Arun was mostly easy to get a hold of and check in was very easy! One of the back doors lock was not functional, the shower curtains had mold which Arun said he would fix so that shouldn’t be a problem in the future. There were not instructions for heating/cooling system so I did have to message Arun but it could have been avoided with house instructions.

2 night stay. Did a quick walk through when I arrived… some imperfections but you can tell they are in the middle of renovations… I communicated my concerns with the host and he was very responsive. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had everyone we would need! House is tucked back into a development so you are away from the noise but also close enough to everything if you were to need something.Would definitely book again.

We had a fantastic experience staying at this 3-bedroom Vrbo home in the Pocono area. From the moment we arrived, everything was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The house offers plenty of space, making it perfect for families or a small group of friends looking to relax and enjoy the outdoors.One of our favorite features was the beautiful veranda — perfect for morning coffee or evening chats. We also took full advantage of the grill and barbeque area, which made dining outside easy and enjoyable.The location couldn't be more convenient. It's just 15-20 minutes away from Tobyhanna State Park, where we spent time fishing, picnicking, and enjoying nature. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or an active getaway, this home is in a great spot to do both.Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the Poconos!

Our stay was extremely disappointing. The interior was filthy, with a strong cigarette smoke odor and cigarette burns on the couch. There were exposed electrical outlets, ungated steep stairs, and a kitchen leak that was only covered by a mat rather than repaired. Outside, the backyard was littered with trash and dog waste, and the outdoor garbage cans were left unsecured, attracting a bear that repeatedly spread trash across the property. We ended up leaving a day early.The listing photos and description were completely misleading — this property requires serious attention before being rented again.

Nice property, beds were very comfortable. The community isn’t very nice, but there’s plenty to do in the poconos. Air conditioners are new and worked very well. Overall a comfortable stay despite it being a tiny bit dirty in areas.

Family getaway

Getting there was quite easy as well as checking in through the gate. Did a quick walk through of the property .Went to Walmart to get breakfast/snacks/ dinner only to realize upon arrival back the grill wasn’t working and the lid wasn’t able to close properly. Reverted to baking only to realize once again there’s no dishes nor pot holders to use while using the oven. I got burnt!! I’ve stayed numerous times in the poconos within the last 8yrs and know the basis necessities . On the plus side the host did send someone out to look at the grill try to fix it so it can work however the lid still isn’t functional as it should. Would recommend however needs updating

It was ok stay, few things could of been better

As many people said, owner is responsive. Just few things, screens on windows and doors would be helpful, otherwise everything will fly-in. Grill was working, but previous people forgot to shut the gas off and the top cover hinges were broken. Then there was the pool pass, we were told to get it at the welcome center(main gate), we went and got rejected because they told us the owner suppose to be there with us to get them.It would be nice to have a print out at the home about the community, what to do to get the passes for pool and other activities in the community. What to do with the garbage etc..

Weekend Get A Way

Great accomodation and communication with host. Close to groceries but rustic enough for a campfire. We spent a good time together over meals and bbq and experienced Kalahari water park close by. Great trip would recommend bringing some toiletries and extra towels but everything else was there.

Arun was really nice and accommodating. I was just disappointed as the pictures didn’t depict the house correctly or the area. I think the pictures have a nice filter on them making the house look more nice and up to date than it actually is and the gated community I believe is part of the army base and not well kept up. Again host was very nice but just not what I was expecting for what was paid for one night.

Just Okay

The home has a lot of potential and was fairly priced for a holiday weekend stay. The location was convenient, with nice local restaurants, hiking spots, and a nearby dollar store. The living room was cozy with comfortable couches and a smart TV, which made relaxing easy.That said, there were a number of issues that made the stay less enjoyable. The home wasn’t very clean upon arrival—I had to vacuum the first night. One of the toilet seats was loose due to missing hardware, and the washer stopped mid-cycle, with the dryer not working either, leaving me to line-dry clothes. Essentials were lacking—there were no blankets in the house (I had to purchase some. It was a cold weekend), and while there was cookware, there were no oven mitts, which made cooking a bit difficult. The pillows were flat, and the quilts were very thin for the season. The backyard had potential with a fire pit but unfortunately was littered with trash.With some better upkeep and attention to detail, this property could be a great rental. I hope the owner considers addressing these issues, as the house truly could be a gem. Thank you for the stay.

A gracious host

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Arun’s. The property was clean and well-stocked. The only issue we had was that there was no air conditioning and we did not realize this before renting. There were oscillating fans provided, but no screens on windows or sliders, causing very little airflow. The first night was very hot and stuffy, making it uncomfortable, but the second night was cooler, so this was not an issue. Arun was responsive to our concerns and has indicated that he plans to add AC this summer.
