"Charming yurt not far from a grocery store but totally secluded. Beautiful private hiking trails right outside the yurt door. Convenient propane heater, solar powered overhead light, bottled water, propane cooktop and a very comfortable futon. The outhouse was close by and very well kept. As a solo traveler, I felt comfortable due to the heavy duty door and deadbolt lock. I had a question and the owners quickly responded. I loved this place! "Area was very nice. Enjoyed the outdoor space. Please though, check your rooms for common amenities. There were no hangers in the room for clothes. The website did not list if the room provided a microwave and fridge and I was happy to see that it did! I contacted the owner and asked if a hairdryer and iron with iron board was provided. The owner was happy to put a hairdryer in the room but could not provide the iron/ iron board. Over all we would stay there again."

"1 of the tvs didn’t work both remotes didn’t work moldy food under beds mold or something by sink broken switch broken plugs on table outlet disgustingly stained chair and bench. Wish I would’ve asked for my money back and just left honestly. Staff was great but room made me want to never come back. Honestly probably won’t."

"The house sits behind a small Liquor store so it's hard to see from the street as it's set back but the view of the lake is beautiful. Appliances could use an update and there are some repairs needed like the tub/shower and a loose board on the porch. The bedrooms were simple and beautiful with views of the water."

"The place is charming with high ceilings and big windows, and we even had a fireplace in the room. I am not sure if it works or if we were allowed to use it. it was summer anyway. However, there was no microwave in the room or the hotel as a whole, and there was no ice machine, the kind of things that you would need at a hotel. The hotel had a parking lot in the back, which is a great amenity when the hotel is in a kind of a busy area (not to say that anywhere in Clinton, MI is busy!)...
