"We stayed here for x2 nights before heading down to St Ives to break up our long drive from Manchester. We had a great time and would definitely do this again. Watergate Bay beach is literally a 4 minute walk from this apartment which is amazing! Parking is included too so you don’t have to worry about your car being restricted in car parks. There are lots of nice places to get coffee, breakfast and dinner too but the apartment is cute enough if you decide to make dinner here as it can be...

"Great location,lovely views, spacious and clean. Well equipped kitchen. WiFi provided by Starlink was good. Utility room useful and well equipped. Could do with a few fans as it gets very warm (daytime temp was 21degrees), especially in the bunk bed room. Had another guest’s car park directly outside our bedroom window which was disappointing considering how good the view can be. But overall,a very pleasant stay!"

"I never had an email to give me the key code, it said someone would be there to meet us to check in at 3pm but wasn't, I rang Padstow breaks who were so helpful and gave me the code and said we were definitely booked in and check in is 4pm and not 3 as expedia informed "

"These apartments were in the perfect location.beautifully clean and hassle free. Parking space is a huge bonus too as we could walk up and down to the beach from our van, leaving body and surf boards then pop back down to the beach again. I would say the only drawback was having no privacy atall on the decked area at the back. There is a very low wall dividing each apartment so didn't feel we could sit out there really. "Brilliant location - quiet apartment/flat in rural area. Within 30-60mins of many fab Cornish places - Eden Project, Jamaica Inn, North coastline (Boscastle, Tintagel, Padstow). Some fabulous family activities close by. Township only 1mile away. Clean & tidy flat, with all the amenities needed, full kitchen, bathroom, pull-out sofa & hosts provided an airbed for 2nd teen. "Everything about The Getaway was perfect. Penny & Gary were the most gracious hosts and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we could ever need. As far as location, you couldn’t get a much better spot, close to Sainsburys for your grocery needs and a short walk to town or the beach. We visit Cornwall every 2 years and The Getaway will be our home away from home every time now! "
