"The Jackson River Estate was the perfect getaway for our 2025 Family Reunion. The estate is very spacious and provides magnificent views. There is river access but the water is cold. The pool and slide were a big hit! Cole’s Point (beach), the humpback bridge and waterfall were super close and great excursions. This location is great for families that like to be outdoors…hiking, fishing, kayaking…Check-in/out was super easy. Although we heard there might have been a bear, there was no sighting....

"The house was lovely and so comfortable. We loved the charm of the property and the updated kitchen. The location was great for access to the Homestead and the local restaurants. "We booked for a sibling birthday retreat- traveling from Texas, NC and Va. The house was quaint, comfortable ( chairs on porch not so much- would have liked rocking chairs as advertised as the weather was perfect for spending time there). "So glad we found this amazing property instead of staying at the Omni Resort. I walked the property with beautiful views and flowers, butterflies and hummingbirds. The deer came every night! The bed was so comfy. We enjoyed coffee on the deck and at night we had a fire! A gas station and an IGA is so close. All the restaurants were very good. Every view from each room was perfect. We will be back! "

Only disappointment was the difficulty we had getting into the Dairy Barn pool and center. Do want to inform you that we did break the glass shade to a lamp in your lower room. Within walking distance of town and a very good resterant, but get reservations early. Milk Dairy Market has the best sandwiches ever...
