The room is ok. But the WiFi in my room doesn’t work for the whole week. I reported it 3 times but finally gave up, because the front desk staff was trying to give me random answers. I believe they don’t have an internal IT person to help troubleshooting and they don’t want to pay for an external technician to help me. The ridiculous reason they gave me was “some constructions are going on outside by the telecommunications company and the relevant satellite communication is affected.” If you are an engineer like me, you’ll realize how ridiculous this answer is. I further asked them “if the communication carrier causes this, how come your desktop still have internet?” She said with a confident tone “because I used a physical cable”. She doesn’t know that WiFi also uses the same cable. I believe some of the WiFi routers are broken or simply need reboot. Over the days, I found that WiFi in different parts of the hotel may still work when it doesn’t work in my room. Again, they need to hire a technical/IT person. And the staff need to be trained not to make stuff up on subjects they don’t know.
