Great cozy house

Our hiking group had a wonderful stay. We loved the great dining room table to gather around. It was awesome to watch the sunset on the deck while having cocktails. The hot tub was clean and perfect after hiking. Would stay again.

Great Stay on the Bay

Great spot, just a short walk to the bay, great views. Confy beds and pillows. Hot tub was perfect and lots of towels. Glad there was an outdoor shower.

Beautiful location

This home was a perfect rental for a girls weekend trip. The location is amazing, super close to the beach and the few Netarts restaurants. The beds are really comfortable and there are plenty of linens. Our only gripe would be the shower water pressure and temperature. It’s non existent and could be warmer. But overall, not a deal breaker. We really enjoyed the home and all it had to offer.

Another great stay!

Great Friends Getaway

Our group of “mature” women had a great time at Happy Camp Hideaway. Our week there was pretty low-key and gave us a chance to relax and reconnect with one another while enjoying parts of the Oregon coast. The location was convenient for day trips north, south, or east. We opted to use the room with the Murphy bed and not use the bunk room and that worked well for our group. Everyone commented that the beds were very comfortable, and the house was well stocked with towels, shampoo, etc. The kitchen had plenty of cookware for our cooking needs. When viewing this property you might want to consider the amount of stairs needed to climb when thinking about luggage and groceries.

What a beautiful stay!

The home and our stay was fantastic! Wonderful location, beautiful views, clean living and sleeping areas, nice hot tub and grill. Our large family all thoroughly enjoyed every minute here! We accidentally got locked out once, but a quick call to Sarah and she had someone come by with a key to let us into the house. They were so kind and even brought little chocolates for us because we waited a couple minutes for them. I couldn't recommend this property enough 🤗

Great View

Our family of nine was very comfortable in the house. Terrific view from the living room of the bay and ocean. Loved watching the pelicans swoop and dive for fish. Plenty for the kids to do with the beach a five minute walk away. Took excursions to the Oceanside beach and to the Tillamook Cheese factory. Fun time.

What a misty weekend!!

The weather during our stay was all over the place and this house was perfect for every one of them. The views, the fireplace, the hot tub, all of them were so appreciated. We would definitely come back.

You won't be disappointed

Our group was six adults and two 7 year olds. We couldn't have been happier with the rental. It has everything you need and more. Sarah was wonderful. A TV wasn't working, so she came out within 30ish minutes of messaging her. She couldn't get it to work and ended up buying a new one... and installed it herself! Her customer service is top notch. If you are curious about the tp, paper towels, shampoo/conditioner, etc situation... you really DON'T need to take any extra! The shampoo/con/bodywash were full sized, so leave yours at home! Kitchen was fully stocked (I did bring my own electric griddle). If you have kiddos, bring your own sand toys (I asked before our trip, so I knew to do so). The beds were great. Kids enjoyed their own space, in the bunkroom (only request, maybe some curtains in this room. Nobody needs the nonsense of kids waking up so early on vacation. Haha) Hot tub was also a hit for them. Be prepared for your legs to get a work out, especially while unloading all of your stuff to take up. If you have older family members or older fur babies who have arthritis or can't climb stairs well, this may not be the best rental for your group. That said, most homes in this area DO have a lot of stairs. We 1000% would rent this property again. Zero complaints from our group. If you're questioning renting this property...stop...just book it! (If you're disappointed with this property, I has nothing to do with the property itself...more like you are the type to find things to complain about. ::facts::) Ps: Sarah deserves a raise! 😉

Fabulous weekend getaway!

We had a wonderful time at Family Tides. Our group of 6 adults and 3 kids had plenty of room to spread out. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. Having 3 full bathrooms for the group was nice! The view is amazing; we watched the sunset from the balcony each night. The kitchen had everything we needed to make large meals for the big group, and the huge dining table was great for spreading out and playing games. The couch was very comfortable! We forgot a couple of personal items and the site host is holding them for us in their office until we can go back to retrieve them in a few days - so wonderful of them! All of the communication has been really great - friendly, fast and helpful. As other reviews mentioned - the dishwasher really doesn't work well. I would recommend saving yourself some time and just hand-wash the dishes. The sign does say to rinse before loading the dishwasher but even then we ended up having to re-wash dishes. Either the filter needs to be cleaned/replaced or perhaps the whole dishwasher. I don't mind handwashing dishes so that's a minor quibble. We had a fantastic time and hope to rent here again!

Fun Family Get Away

Very comfortable, good view, clean, comfortable beds--grandkids loved the fooseball table. It's nice to find nice accommodations that allow pets. Lovely for our family birthday celebration.
