The Beach Barn sits in a hollow in the road, but seenms to get a fair amount of sun. The skylights help. The design makes good use of space - childrens' beds are tucked into little alcoves off of the two adult rooms. Wish each adult bed had two nightstands - one on each side of the bed. The kitchen is small, appliances are old, but totally adequate. The living room has comfortable seating (also old) and a very good TV. There is more than adequate parking. I thought the location to beaches, stores, rivers, etc. was very good. My husband and I enjoyed our stay and would consider staying there again. Just expect a house that has dated fixtures.
Be aware: There is only one bathroom and a separate shower room, and they are located downstairs. All of the sleeping quarters are upstairs. Keep the hall lights on at night.
