    The Beach Barn



    The Space:

    This cozy house has a lot of room inside and there is plenty of open space and a nice wooded backdrop to enjoy outdoors. Inside, you will find all of the modern conveniences you would expect, including a full kitchen, flatscreen TV, and a video game system to keep the kids busy. The house is also child-friendly, with baby gates and a high chair.



    What's nearby:

    Netarts has a few dining options a short drive away, and The Schooner is a local favorite. There are a couple of convenience stores close by for necessities. Happy Camp beach at the north end of town is a great spot for crabbing, or you might venture to Netarts Bay during low tide and do a little clamming. Tillamook is a 15-minute drive to the east where you can find all major shopping.

Nice place to stay

This is a nice place to stay, good location and good access. Close to the things we wanted to see, but felt like you were far from stuff.

4x4 in Tillamook.

This was a fine place to stay and I would recommend it. We spent the whole time out and about in Tillamook Forest, but there were plenty of sleeping options for us here, which was what we needed.

We had a great time! The house was as described, in a great neighborhood and well outside of the tsunami evacuation zone. It was a quick drive from some wonderful beaches, well-designed and taken care of. It wasn’t so brand new spic-and-span that we felt like we couldn’t relax or let our dog walk around, but the kitchen and bedrooms were clean and tidy.

Netarts thanksgiving

Beautiful home in a quiet costal town

This place was great for our family. Located close to a lot of fun points of interest. We enjoyed the beach, as well as some fun hikes nearby. The house was very clean, and had a neat layout. The kids enjoyed the bunk beds, and overall it was a great experience.

Great little house!

This was a perfect space for us! Short walk to the beach and easy drive to other areas of interest. The house was very clean and cozy with enough room to relax and play. Dog friendly too!

Perfect for families!

This place was very cozy! The kids had fun sleeping in the bunk beds tucked in the room. We drove to many parks along the coastline and would come back to dry off there.

We enjoyed this VRBO tremendously! It had ample seating, the shower seperate from the main bathroom area (great with multiple people) and pleanty of kitchen storage. It also has a doshwasher and washer/dryer.The bedroom set up was lots of fun for the kids!! The bunk beds are in the same room as the queen bed and couch. The bunk beds have rolling doors for privacy. The same goes for the twin bed in with the full bed - the twin bed has a rolling door.The location was close to the town of Tillimook, the Cheese Factory, Blue Hernan (a must visit for the animals, shop, cute photo wall, and food if you would like), and the beach. This was a great space for the price and location!

quiet spot

house is in a very quiet spot. It looks to be a property owned by the church but even though it appears to share property with the church or church camp, it was quiet and private.

Visiting Tillmook

I enjoyed this lil cabin with my family and pets. It is a little dated but it was clean and very close to the Tillmook Creamery which was our whole reason for being there. We enjoyed the area and the beds were comfortable. It only has one bathroom downstairs which kinda sucked but for the space I get it. The shower is separate from the where the toilet is so that helps when someone needs to use the toilet and someone was showering. Overall I would stay there again.

Loved it!

We picked this house as a halfway meeting point for dune riding. The trailer parking was extremely convenient. The house itself was cute and clean-the neighborhood was quiet. A couple restaurants close by if you weren’t wanting to cook. Overall we had a great experience and will definitely be staying here again! Thank you!!

two night stay

Clean, easy to access property, close to Netarts Bay, Tillamook and Oceanside. Comfortable beds, easy to use TV. No coffee in unit - bring some if you want it. Local restaurant options limited but we were able to find everything we needed.. highly recommend the oysters at The Schooner Restaurant and Lounge - extremely fresh and tasty.

Oregon ocean getaway.

The house was very close to the beach which was great! Nice and roomy. The only downside was the lack of bath towels. Five people were staying at the house and there were two bath towels as well as one wash cloth. We looked everywhere but couldn’t find more towels. We had to use our beach towels to shower which was an inconvenience.

Short stay

It was a comfortable stay. It is old the carpets have stains smells a little old. Spiders and webs everywhere. But outside of that it was decent to stay. I don’t like the only bathroom was downstairs and the stairs are a bit slippery and can fall easily so if you have walking issues I wouldn’t stay here. The neighborhood was quiet and it felt like a small woodsy cabin. Can’t complain about it really.

Thanksgiving at the Beach

The family and I decided to do something a Lil different for thanksgiving and spent some time at the coast. The weather ended up being perfect with little to no rain. Just enough room for my small family of 5 and dog. Everything was provided and very clean. The only thing would be asking for extra TP. We had only three rolls for a week. Has a day/half without and all stores were closed due to the holiday, so a bit inconvenient, otherwise we plan to visit again. Thanks, The Keechle Family

Our stay

We had a good time. House was clean and well stocked. Other than receiving lock code we never heard from host. I never understood the host fee. The rent money is the host fee! Myself, husband and brother in law are all over 70. Didn’t realize bathroom was down stairs and that was ruff. I’m up 2-3 times at night. Brother in law had to sleep on couch cause of stairs. Personally, I don’t feel 1 bathroom is enough for a house that sleeps 8

Disappointment

The house was in a quiet neighborhood with amble room. However, the bed sheets were dirty, the house smelled of pet urine, the kitchen sinks smelled horrible. Plus, carpets were dirty and didn’t look vacuumed and the furniture had dirt all over it. The Vacasa staff sent someone with clean sheets to change the bedding but I was absolutely stuck there for two nights. Worst stay I have had with Vrbo which Vacasa went through. Makes me not want to do this again which is rough because I have always been pleased with Vrbo before. Two nights that I was stuck.

Great for a coast get-away

Clean and comfortable home with well-stocked kitchen. Very child-safe! The baby gates were such a nice bonus. Houses nearby a little rundown, but very close to beaches and nearby towns. Another bathroom upstairs with the bedrooms would be nice, but one was very manageable. I use the HomeAway app to manage trips with rentals, and it was slightly annoying that rental through Vacasa meant I couldn't communicate with property owner/manager through the app and have all of the details and access instructions in the app - I was supposed to get another app for that. Again, not a deal-breaker by any means, but just suggesting feedback that if home is posted through multiple sites/apps, maintaining all of them consistently is most client-friendly.
