Beautiful large home
Our 16 family members were very happy with the breathtaking views from main and second story living areas, with views from all but two bedrooms. The kitchen layout is wonderful and well stocked with cookware/oils/some seasonings, and multiple people can work simultaneously. The top, main floor dining and living area was comfortable for all of us to gather. The top floor has the primary bedroom suite which is beautiful, and two additional bedrooms (one room is small with no ocean views) and share a bathroom. The second floor has amazing views of the ocean, a large seating area with large tv, books and games available, and a foosball table (very loud when peops are on bottom floor though). This 2nd floor also has the bunk room, laundry room, a bathroom, and a second refrigerator (which came in is handy). The bottom floor has two nice bedrooms with ocean views, and a shared bathroom. Our family also rented the “cottage” affixed to the main house, and it has a nice bedroom, bathroom, living area with pull out couch, and a small kitchen - great ocean views.We enjoyed the size of the place, perfect for gathering and spreading out. The walk to the beach was fine for most of us, but the house is located up from the ocean and roads to get from the beach could be challenging for some due to the steep grade. There is a great little cafe in town, and while Oceanside is charming there is not much there (bring your groceries, etc). We had a wonderful time!
