Walking into this home, the first thing you see is the view -- it's breathtaking! But there's not a whole lot else about this place that has the same effect.
Furniture is all pretty old and run down with cheap blankets draped over the couches (couches aren't what are pictured on this listing). The beds are very stiff and also feel cheap. The woodworking around the house is unfinished giving it a feel that maybe they're in-between repairs or modernizing. Towels, sheets, TP, paper towels, etc. are all the cheapest quality - we went into town and purchased some of our own TP to use during our stay. Shower is EXTREMELY small, so if you are a larger body person, be prepared to shimmy yourself in circles while cleaning off.
Views from the deck and windows are beyond words -- we didn't spend much time at the rental, and what time we did spend was mostly on the deck or staring out the living room window.
Email instructions were thorough. However, we were directed to the wrong house w a nearly identical address. Perhaps the rental could benefit from some kind of landmark on the deck you can see from the road below and include that in the check-in information.
Overall, for the cost of this rental, we had much higher expectations. Everything feels outdated and very cheap. We were mostly out and about town for a special occasion, but I would've been really upset if my plan was to spend a cozy getaway hanging around this rental with the accomodations that are provided.
