"We got the ship room, with balcony - quirky but very dated. The lower part of the boat is quite humid - at night you must close all windows unless you want milllion bugs in your room, so no way to sit outside and enjoy the stars but during the day the views are so pretty. Overall, fun for the kids , clean and ok for 1 night, expensive though "

"This is a lovely and well equipped cottage though was a little chilly the night with a heavy frost (until we located the heater!) It was also a bit confusing to locate, as it is up several driveways, past other houses, but we got there without too much trouble!"

"Friendly staff, nice room in general. Getting to the facility was difficult due to recent traffic changes. Despite instructions, I got lost almost every time returning to the room. Bed matress was very well worn, body indents present on each side, probably time for a refresh. Pillows were flat. Large roach in the shower and bug bites while in the room, hopefully just mosquitos."

"Our group felt so cozy and homey at Fantail cottage while we explored nearby Hamilton and Hobbiton. Fiona was an excellent host and made sure we had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped and the provided milk, coffee, hot chocolate, and cereals was a nice touch. Everyones favorite part is that the shower was hot with really good water pressure! We also really enjoyed the chickens (chooks) and they seemed to like our food scraps just as much. Thank you for a lovely stay :)"

"I was so impressed with the Kozy Kottage, it was perfect and homely. There was food in the cupboards, fridge and freezer, all there for you to use, including eggs, milk, bread, condiments and all you need for cooking, oil, salt pepper etc and fruit in the fruit bowl, the beds were comfortable and the shower had amazing pressure. I would 100% recommend this to everyone, we will definitely be using it again. Thank you for a great stay Kozy Kottage"

"The apartment was well appointed, nice small kitchen with everything necessary for a short stay. Good size tv for the size of the lounge and a heatpump - that once we figured out how to get it going was effective as the temperature dropped quickly now we are headed into winter. Bed was comfortable and a good size room with large wardrobe, extra pillows and blankets. Overall a great little apartment with parking right outside. "I was very disappointed with the state of the bed sheets and pillow cases it had a disgusting odor as if it hasn't been changed by the cleaners. The 1st room next to the stairs.The Tv also wasnt accommodating everything was in Chinese, youtube, prime, was very difficult to change settings as we couldn't understand a word! Every app was locked and required our own login The main shower was ALSO disappointing, drain was blocked and the water would fill up the shower. Disgusting! Very disappointing...

"It was definitely a unique stay. Just keep in mind that the deeper in the ship you go, the colder it gets. However, the duvet and blankets they provide are plenty warm, and there are extra heaters provided, plus some electric blankets I think. People complained about the diesel smell, while present, it faded away for me after a while, it wasn't overpowering or anything. "
