A wonderful property to spend 34 nights!! The home was well equipped with everything you need. We ended up getting 185 Yard Birds! Phenomenal number for 1 location. And not to brag but we were #1 in Guanacaste for the month of December!! We found a number of great restaurants and a few good hiking spots. The property manager (Mary) made the stay stress free. We did get to see the volcano a few times, the clouds came in almost daily. Thanks to our hosts for allowing ys to stay for an extended time.

Perfect!!

We stayed for a week and couldn’t have been more pleased! The house was fully equipped, clean, convenient, and has the best views!! We could have just stayed home and bird-watched for days from the balconies. We would recommend this home to anyone looking for a good location and impeccable home. The layout is great for a family or a few couples. Communication was fantastic as well. We can’t wait to visit again!

Stunning

We could not have asked for a better home during our stay. It was spacious and clean. Mary, the property manager was very helpful and welcoming. The check-in process was easy. The views were absolutely stunning! We saw more birds sitting on the balconies at the house then we saw anywhere else during our two week trip to Costa Rica. The pool was great, the neighborhood was great, and the house was great! The house is a little further away from La Fortuna and other places than I thought it was going to be. The roads are extremely windy around the lake. Overall, we would stay again!

Perfect location

We stayed half a week here and i’d have gladly stayed longer. House was immaculately clean, decorated great, comfortable furniture. The property is surreal and beautiful and location on lake Arenal was a great spot with wonderful scenery and many food options in a short drive away

Overall, the house was spacious, clean with multiple panoramic terrace view. The kitchen had all the appliances we needed and the master bayhroom on the main floor had a huge tiled bathroom. The pool was a bit of a steep walk but very closeby and overlooked lake Arenal which was beautiful. The owners were easilt accessible and friendly as well. Would definitely consider returning one day.

Quiet tranquil getaway

Great home and location close to Tilaran and La Fortuna.

Lots of bird watching, ziplining and great restaurants to pick from. Wonderful VRBO, highly recommend to friends and family who love nature and adventure. We have been to Costa Rica during the last 25 years and this probably our favorite spot to stay.

Great place in playa flamingo. The property was as described . The outside pool area is amazing . The house itself needs some renovations- beds are cranky and a bit small and shower is old . We had an issue with our toilet that was immediately taken care of. other than that- it was a great stay. Thank you Tim and Fabian!

Beautiful home with lake views

This was a great base for our activities - 1 hour to La Fortuna and 1.5 hours to Monteverde. We hiked Arenal Volcano national park, visited La Fortuna waterfall, hanging bridges and ziplining in Monteverde (be sure to rent a 4x4 if you go there - roads are not great), spent a day at Springs Resort with a day pass (a splurge but was so worth it!), and ATV tour. First time visiting this area of Costa Rica and it is now my favorite! Our weather was amazing and the house has great balconies for enjoying sunsets and the cool morning breezes. The house was also well stocked. Loved the layout, every bedroom opens onto a balcony. Mary, the property manager was very responsive to my questions and even stopped in to introduce herself. Do follow Britney’s instructions to stop at supermarket for any food items on way from Liberia. There are no large grocery stores nearby, just a smaller market that doesn’t have a lot. Also loved the recommendation for Casa Italia! It was very good. Only negative - lake roads are full of twists and turns and narrow so recommend being back at the house before dark, other than eating at a close by restaurant. The pool is also within walking distance and a nice thing to have on warmer days. You can drive to it but not necessary if you don’t mind hilly walks. This home exceeded our expectations and we would definitely stay here again.

This was the perfect home for numerous day trips with a lot of places to dine and shop nearby. The deck was fabulous with a great view. If you are looking for quiet and solitude after a day of exploring this is the place to be. This is a quality built home with every amenity needed.

Beautiful property

Clean, well-kept home. We stayed here for 10 days and enjoyed our time immensely. I think we saw more birds here than in the tourist sites. We hope to return soon.
