"Treetops is an immaculately presented accommodation with hosts who were helpful and kind. The room was clean, well maintained and equipped. The good coffee and cafetiere were a welcome bonus. No instant granules here! Breakfast was tasty, varied and reflected a similar attention to quality. The usual cereals and toast were supplemented with a buffet including smoked salmon, venison salami, quality hams and local eggs. The view from our room was stunning, Ben Nevis in full view and the location...

"Really friendly owners, a clean and spacious room. Parking was no problem, close to the Bowmore distillery. Got a fully cooked Scottish breakfast, tasty! Weather wasn‘t so friendly, but hey: It‘s Scotland! Enjoyed my stay and hopefully will come back again."

"Our 3-night stay at Mardon House was just perfect. James and Angela are great hosts: friendly and helpful. Upon check-in, James gave us a quick orientation to the city with a helpful photo and map in the hall. The twin room was clean and well-furnished, including the en-suite bathroom. There was plenty of variety in the breakfast offerings, including cold and cooked items, and Angela makes the BEST porridge. Mardon house is an easy 15-minute walk from the train station and well-placed to explore...
