Nice house with all necessry comfort, relativly near to harbor of Puerto del Carmen

Nice house with 3 bedrooms, every bedroom has an own bathroom. Therefore perfekt house not only for a family, but also for three couples. Kitchen with all necessary equipment, romantic barbeque-corner outside. With the heated pool, the table tennis and the pool-billard we had the whole day and evening something to do. Cleaning of the house ~every 4 days included in the price.

What a holiday. The villa, the location, the weather, everything was great. This villa is truly unique, very quiet and very private. Privacy was a must for us, and in this property you cannot be spotted at all, 100% private. Lovely gardens and a stunning bbq area, very clean and all services you could ask for. The young spanish owner was there for us when we needed advice around. Would highly recommend the villa, looks even better than on the pictures. By far he best villa we have visited, and well worth what we paid for. We will repeat for sure.

The villa was a little more worn than I had expected, but it had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The welcome package was a lovely touch.The garden and pool were cleaned every other day, which was much needed due to the number of trees around—the pool and garden tended to collect leaves quickly. A tip: if you need WiFi in your bedroom, the room with the en-suite bath is the only one that gets a signal. However, note that the shower there is not ideal, so you may only want to use the toilet.The villa’s location is excellent: a 10-minute walk to Super Diono in one direction and a shopping center in the other. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the main strip and the old town.Overall, it was a lovely stay. The villa could use a little TLC, but it’s a comfortable and well-located option.

De villa was schoon en mooi ingericht, met alle moderne apparatuur in de keuken, wekelijks werd er schoongemaakt en kregen wij schoon linnengoed en handdoeken. Zwembad werd 2 keer per week schoongemaakt en had een heerlijke temperatuur, doordat het verwarmd werd. De buurt is rustig, op 7 minuten lopen waren er 2 supermarkten. Contact met de eigenaar verliep prima. We hadden een stroomstoring, maar dat werd accuraat opgepakt en opgelost. We kunnen de villa zeker aanbevelen. Enige opmerking is dat de ligbedden en de loungeset aan vernieuwing toe zijn.

A unique place we will definitely remember and can definitely recommend !

We are truly delighted that we booked Villa La Retreat. It is marvellous. Holidays for us are about new, positive experiences and creating new memories and our stay here has provided both. We have loved the spacious accommodation, the 3 bedrooms - each with ensuite bathroom- and excellent wardrobe space and comfortable beds, the comfy lounge and dining areas, the verandah with the seating and the dining areas and the pool and garden area have ALL been ideal. The villa is well equipped, too. The location is ideal- it's a quiet area where we have loved hearing the birds sing! It's a short taxi journey from the airport (taxi 22 Euros/ Sun Transfers 32 Euros). 3 good supermarkets (Lidl, Hyperdino and Spar) and the El Burro restaurant - we went there 8 times, given it's excellent service/menu options and food! - are all within 10 minutes walk, plus, if required, taxis to Avenida la Playa or the Old Town area are reliable/inexpensive. The cleaning/maid service (3hrs per visit), garden (1hr per visit) and the pool services have been effective and regular. The large soft bath towels and good size pool towels which were changed at each maid visit were great. The weather during our 1 month stay was good - SO much better than at home!! Ignacio's helpful support throughout the booking process and in preparation for and during our visit was great. There are a few areas (wear and tear) for an even better experience which we shared with Ignacio but we thoroughly recommend La Retreat

Large, comfortable villa

A great place for our family of four. Another 2 would have fitted in easily as there were so many bathrooms. Comfortable beds, a nice outdoor area and good communication with Nacho who brought much needed ping pong bats !

Ideal Getaway

We were a group of two couples who spent a fantastic week at La Retreat Villa. The process of check-in & check-out was seamless and the host kindly provided a late check out to assist with the airport transfer. The villa itself was well equiped with everything we needed and was peacefully quiet both day and night. The location was great, a small walk of about 15 mins downhill to the old town harbour with numerous bars & restaurants. We took our time and the walk uphill was never an issue. The outside terrace area and heated pool were wonderful, with the choice to be in the sunshine or shade. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would definitely return and can recommend the villa.

Wonderful villa book with confidence

Ramon was brilliant from start to end. The villa is even bigger than it seems online and was fully equipped with everything we could need for the 6 of us. We travelled with our two children (7 and 10) and their grandparents. Having 3 bathrooms was fab and the beds were really comfortable. It is a decent walk down to the strip, we just took our time and it was fine! Ramon was really helpful with any questions we had and I fully recommend this villa to everyone. Our boys absolutely loved the ping pong and pool table (and the giant TV with English Netflix, Disney etc for down time!).

Fabulous villa

Only a short drive from airport. Ramon was in regular contact from booking to arrival. Also stepped in when we left an iPhone in a taxi. Managed to track it down and arranged for us to be picked up by taxi!!! Above and beyond. Villa is spacious and well equipped. Pool is perfect. Good security with Alarm and safe. Walk into town is bit hilly. No problem for us.but maybe to some. Shops and restaurants within 5 to 10 mins. Would definitely book again 😍

Family holiday

Very relaxing vacation at the villa. Very private and quiet but just a few minutes walk to shops, restaurants etc. Ideal location , very clean and excellent communication with Ramón. Would definitely return.

La Retreat in Puerta Del Carmen

We had a fantastic stay during our time at la Retreat as the name suggests it was the perfect place to relax and have a chilled out holiday. The host Ramon was very quick to respond to any queries we had. The villa had everything you ever need, pool was a good temperature, had an outside terrace which was perfect when you needed to come out of the sun and it was all very private (nothing overlooked onto the back with the pool / terrace). Inside there was a good size living room, with large smart TV, good size kitchen with everything and there are also 3 good size bedrooms, a new large wetroom shower and double sinks plus there was also another 3 toilets including 2 showers. Location wise again was perfect only 10 minutes walk into centre of old town or about 15mins to Playa Blanca beach which has a very long promenade which has alot of bars/ restaurants along it. Would highly recommend and will go back in the future.

Excellent week

6 Adults stayed for a week. 3.good en-suite bedrooms, good kitchen although only used for breakfasts. Good to have a heated pool. The only slight niggle and it is being picky is that the sunbeds could be a bit more comfortable. Overall a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this property. You do need to be quite fit to walk home from the town at night but don't let that put you off.

Lovely Stay

We had a lovely family stay in La Retreat. It's in a great location very close to a Spar (to pick up essentials), bars and restaurants and a shopping centre. You will find everything you need within walking distance. The house was absolutely spotless when we arrived and was very comfortable. There are a couple of things to note: The house is just off a main street - down a gravel driveway so it took us a couple of minutes to find it on arrival in the dark. (It had been pointed out to us in the instructions) It's a bit of a climb back to the house. We found it absolutely fine but I imagine it would be tricky with young kids. There were no supplies n the house (just a bottle of water)so you do need to pick up all essentials when you arrive

A great stay

We had a lovely time, great location, walkable to mall, shops, beach, restaurants of which there are an abundance, but away enough that it's lovely and quiet If we didn't feel particularly active there was plenty to do around the villa with the swimming pool, pool table and choice of outdoor furniture. to lounge around on. With teens it's great to have their own space and an en-suite in every room was a bonus too! Any queries we had were answered immediately. I can definitely recommend this villa and Ramon as a host.

Great Villa- but if you have mobility issues not for you

Great Villa, however distance to amenities not far but hilly, we had to get a taxi everywhere due to mobility issues. Place could do with permanent cleaner for outside as we had to sweep up leaves at least twice a day due to so many trees in garden shedding. Had few problems but Ramon sorted very quickly. Kitchen very equips, but could do with shower slip mats. Comfortable double bed but others not comfortable at all. Would seek something nearer strip when returning.
