Overall, the flat was well-decorated clean and nice as advertised , at least at face value. The location was superb, with a short walk to bars, restaurants, and the pool, which was pleasantly uncrowded during our stay.Unfortunately, we encountered several issues with the flat that significantly impacted our experience:Kitchen Worktop – The worktop was of poor quality and not rated for heat resistance. This led my burning a ring mark after placing down a hot coffee pot. What was particularly disappointing was that the owner's representative visited us on the final day to confront us about the damage, stating that “we had a problem.” In my view, the real issue lies in the owner's decision to install fixtures and fittings that were not fit for normal use. The Bedroom Door jammed shut every time we entered and we had to prise it open. This is escape safety hazard, and it was inconvenient throughout our stay.Most concerningly, the shower door was dangerously defective, it would not close properly and after that it shattered while I was taking a shower, resulting in multiple cuts to my hands and feet. To make matters worse, after allowing the owner's representative to inspect the flat for repairs, I discovered a brand-new, intact shower door boxed and already stored under the bed before. This strongly suggests the problem was known beforehand and neglected, leaving a hazardous situation for my family—including my 13-year-old daughter.Also the bathroom door has no lock.
