Our family of three generations had a wonderful stay! The scenery is picture-perfect, with beautifully maintained gardens and comfortable outdoor furniture that made relaxing outside a joy. We loved how the indoor and outdoor tables were close together, making it easy to hang out and enjoy meals. We also had a lot of fun playing pool, definitely a highlight for everyone! Truly a dream vacation spot. Highly recommended!

A truly unique and delightful venue. The house, details, amenities, location and overall excellent quality made for a fantastic stay. Very convenient to Sequoia NP and Kings Canyon. Your biggest “issue” may be you want to stay on the property and not go anywhere. We had a multi generational group of friends and family (22-82 yrs). Everyone loved this place. The bedrooms w private baths, multiple areas to chill and relax both inside and out, exercise equipment, sauna, steam room, river access, ice plunge, pool table, decks, patios and amazing night star filled nights were all as good or better than pictured and described.We even used the gourmet kitchen and organic garden for some great meals.

Multigenerational family gathering

This property works perfect for a large group. Everyone has their own bedroom and bath, and there is plenty of space to gather around the pool table, large dining room table, or go outside for a competition using their outdoor games.

Beautiful Spot by the River

Well, the location is just wonderful. The house is nice and big with plenty of bathrooms and beds for our family of 14. The pool table is a big hit and the grounds are really nice. We all enjoyed the spa and just hanging by the river. In a perfect world, I would have like more flatware, bowls and plates. One night we had homemade chili and were happy that we brought our own bowls. I think a purge of left over bakeware would be great. Maybe putting the kitchen items that don't get used much put away so that the counters are free. But, that said, we are a cooking family and I know not everyone cares about that. All in all, we had a great time.

Fabulous Time at Kaweah Chakra Riverfront

Thank you for the Great Memories!! Our family spent the weekend at Kaweah Chakra in August. (12 adults, 2 children, 2 infants). The home is breathtaking inside and out, and we had plenty of room and activities for everyone. Our days started peacefully watching the sunrise in the morning on the back lawn while drinking coffee and listening to the river current. We would drive into Sequoia before 10:00 a.m. to explore (its a little over an hour to General Sherman), and played in the river in the backyard in the afternoons once we returned (which was the highlight of our trip). The kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, and everyone enjoyed the gaming tables (pool, ping pong, air hockey, etc). Although couple of items did not work, which the hosts had been notified of on our departure day in order to fix for the next guests, we would love to make this an annual or bi-annual summer tradition. This is a must stay if you are needing some rest and relaxation and want to be close to nature and stargaze in the evenings. Thank you again for the wonderful stay and memories.

Great time at 3 Rivers property

Just a beautiful property in a beautiful place. House was meticulous. All the rooms were quite nice. Lots to do in and around the house: pool table indoors, BB court outdoors, plus foosball, air hockey, ping pong and other stuff. And then there's the water. Hot tub, steam room, and cold plunge area. And, of course, the river! Beautiful spot. Great just to hang out there on a rock or get in the water, cross the river, walk up, and ride the small rapids down. Repeat. Kids love it. Big kids, too. Kitchen was well-equipped and the 2nd frig was a nice bonus. Pam was most helpful with a few things that we needed some help with. Great host. Very enjoyable time for all!

Excellent Home for Groups

This is a perfect home for large groups. We had several couples traveling together and everyone had their own bedroom with private bath. The owners have thought of every little detail. The kitchen was very well stocked and the outdoor space is amazing! It was great to have large tables both inside and outside for dining. Highly recommend!

Fabulous "Resort"

Our family of 16 stayed at the Kaweah Chakra Retreat and the place was fantastic. We also rented the 2-bedroom guest house. We were there for 4 nights and would like to have stayed longer. The accommodations are extraordinary - very clean, certainly spacious, and has about anything you would need for a relaxing vacation. Our grandkids especially enjoyed playing the numerous games available and the adults enjoyed relaxing on the river beach. The location worked very well for our visits to Sequioa National Park. We would rate the facility a 10 out of 10. One of the best we have ever stayed in.

Everything you need!

This house is beautiful, situated right on the river, and is the best equipped house I have ever rented. We were 12 adults and five kids--lots of room for all. Plenty of cooking equipment, spices, coffee, etc. Great outdoor area with sauna, hot tub, outdoor dining. Easy to get to and parking for 5-6 cars. A very interesting house and one I can highly recommend

Perfect for the family

This was an amazing property that fit all of our group very comfortably ! Plenty of amenities , the kids stayed busy outside the whole trip! Only downside to our trip here, was sequoia national park was closed due to the rain storm we had over the course of a few weeks. Absolutely recommend this property ! We will be back!

This is a beautiful house but terrible management. The ad says this is a 7 bedroom, 6 bath house but what you will rent is just a 5 bedroom 5 bath house. There is a separate guest house which has to be rented separately. The manager Shea is very unprofessional. After everything was paid and the house was reserved, I realized that what we got was just a house with 5 bedrooms and 5 baths, and since it was not enough for our group, I sent Shea 2 emails to see how we can rent the guesthouse in order to have the 7 bedrooms that was mentioned, but she totally ignored my emails. Shockingly, 2 days later I realized that without any prior notice, our reservation was cancelled which was extremely annoying. Since we could not find any other house that size, I asked another person in our group to redo the reservation. So finally we were able to go to that house including the guest room for extra money. A beautiful house, but terrible management. No toilet paper in the master bedroom, terrible spring mattress in 2 of the bedrooms, 3 nonworking barbecues, one hvac for 3 of the bedrooms which made one of the rooms like a sauna, but the other rooms were still too cold. I truly feel sorry for the owner of this house who has chosen a terrible company to manage this beautiful house. With this kind of unprofessional attitude and mismanagement, they will definitely lose a lot of customers.

Family Gathering

It is a beautiful property situated right on the River. This is our second Christmas holiday spending time at the Kaweah Chakra house. It accommodates our group nicely with plenty of private space and is well stocked with spices for holiday cooking. The dining room table is a perfect place for eating with a large group and a gathering place for multiple groups playing board games. Although we were not able to use the outdoor spaces due to the chilly weather, it would be great to visit in the spring or summer for a different experience.

Beautiful house and setting

We enjoyed the house immensely. there was plenty of space for 13 people to spread out. The patio was a great place for us to eat together where the kids could play and we could sit at the table and enjoy ourselves. All the activities options from musical instruments, to chess, to badminton were thoroughly enjoyed by all. The supplies were generous so we didn't have to run to the store for any small things that we forgot. Two refrigerators saved us with so many to feed. We enjoyed the river although short on life jackets, which would not be hard to remedy. There were problems with the hot tub. The host responded immediately when we had a question. This house and setting are exquisite.

Kaweah Chakra is perfect for all ages!

This is our third stay at Kaweah Chakra and each year it has been a perfect location for all ages in our group from 4 to 90! For us, the river is the main attraction and all but the 90 year-old loves being in it! In addition, there is the spa and numerous games for everyone to enjoy. The house is amazing with a gourmet cook's kitchen and plenty of space to allow everyone to have their own private bedroom/bathroom. We bring our own food because the small town has little to offer in terms of restaurants and grocery shopping. On our departure, we were even treated to a visit from 5 deers!

Picturesque setting for perfect R&R

The property is absolutely gorgeous set right on the river with some calm spots that you can dip in and cool yourself off on a hot day. The house has it all as described and pictures don’t do it justice on how it is beautiful. The owners of the property and management company thought of everything. It has two big fridges to comfortably fit everything we needed. There are sports activities (table tennis, air hockey, corn hole), and yoga mats for some morning yoga right on the river. Pam and Shea were wonderful and so responsive. Any question or anything that we needed they provided and answered instantly. We had little issue with AC and they within minutes sent AC technician and themselves made sure we were comfortable. That is first class service and much appreciated. They really took care of us. We will for sure be back. Thanks for having us.
