We really enjoyed staying at Ash Mountain for many reasons. To begin with, the setting is superb: a quiet mountain overlooking a river. The constant sound was super peaceful.
Communication with Lori, the owner, was great and she helped us to ensure a pleasant stay. For example, we did not know about the harsh winter they had had at Sequoia as we do not live in the US, but she warned us about road and park closures so we could plan our days.
When we arrive, we really liked the details she has for guests. You do not receive a treaty of what you are not supposed to do as in other properties. Rather, she has details for you to do the right thing: make-up remover provision, both ceramic china and disposable ones, snacks and a well equipped house with great internet reception.
All in all, great place and great value for money. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to anyone.
