"Stayed over Easter. Staff are brilliant, very helpful and attentive and friendly.
Menu for breakfast and dinner was lovely and great value for money.
The rooms are simply decorated, clean maybe slightly small but appreciate it is a very old building. The bed was very comfortable and room was nice and warm too. "The staff were so friendly and welcoming. I was staying there for one night due to work. My room was exceptionally clean and my bed was that comfortable that I really did not want to get up in the morning. Shower was lovely. I only drink decaf and the hotel was really accommodating in putting decaf drinks on my room. I loved the original window, black out curtains did exactly what they was supposed to do. "Newly renovated rooms to a high specification, staff were very helpful from the moment I walked in the door. Great food, luckily for me it was a Sunday evening I arrived and managed to get an amazing carvery. Will definitely stay here again. "
